In a quiet residential location, The Homestar offers bed and breakfast accommodation, 10 minutes’ walk from the sandy beach. It has free Wi-Fi throughout, and free parking on site available for most rooms. Each room is elegantly decorated, with an en suite bathroom, a TV, and tea and coffee-making facilities. Some are on the ground floor, but there is also a stair lift for guests to use. Evening meals can be catered for, and there is a well-stocked bar so that guests can enjoy a drink. There is also a lounge to relax in, and a patio area in the garden. Skegness shopping centre and Clock Tower can be reached in 5 minutes on foot. The Hostess was friendly. Greeted with a smile. I had trouble getting hot water from the shower, that was fixed within seconds. The bed was very comfortable. Not to far from the beach etc. You are not interrupted by anyone. I would stay again.. Could have been cleaner, there was a slight unknown smell when you walked in and on the landing. There was no key to unlock the window in the bedroom,to let air in because at night it was quite warm. Didn't see any breakfast items in the dining room, so therefore ended up going elsewhere for breakfast. (8.30- 8.45)

Owners very friendly couldn't do enough for you. Breakfast nice just enough to put you on until dinner. Location for us was good very quiet street. Parking to the rear of property although having a big car meant we only just fit through. Wifi in rooms good idea if it worked very low signal meant only basic usage. No good with teenager who wanted to play on iPad in evening before bed. Our room got cold in the night no heating through the night meant our 17 month old kept waking up

everywhere very clean,beds were really comfy. breakfast was great. only stayed for 1 night, but will definitely be going back in summer hols with the kids and friends! good value for money,in a quiet location and only a few minutes to shops, beach etc. the shower took some adjusting as it was attached to the taps, but got it to the right temperature in the end, after a fair bit of fiddling!

Clean and comfortable B&B. Very friendly welcome and customer service. Happy to stay there again. It was not busy so I could park in front but lack of parking could be more of a problem during busy months.

The room was beautiful and the asian lady that greeted us was such a lovely woman, it was one road away from all the shops, beaches, very quiet area too, lovely outside area! Really loved it nothing it was perfect

Rooms were bright clean and well decorated, bathroom was nicely tiled and clean . comfy double bed and bright duvets. Breakfast very nice but not enough for the blokes. Hospitality really good. Would stay again and mention to friends Shower was too hot unable to turn down. Breakfast, would of like a bit more. Perfer butter and jam sachet on table and able to butter own toast

The twin room was excellent very spacious,breakfast was laid back what ever time you wanted Annie would oblige.room was very spacious, bathroom ok and shower was great. Car park ok but a bit sparse because of the area so in height of season might be difficult but all the hotels are the same . but would go back again No bad points
