No staff on hand, waited for over 45 mins after ringing the contact number given, n the end annoyed so left and returned home, waist of time and fuel.
everything, i have never stayed in such a dirty hole. Paper coming off ceiling and wall. sheets were dirty we stayed on top of bed. bathroom smelled of wee mouldy and floor caving in. If wasnt that we had traveled for a party and all the hotels were fully booked we made the best of a bad job please do not stop here.
Sink in room no hot water.Quilt ripped. No wardrobes to hang clothes. No bedside tables.Room freezing as no heating. No tv in room.Tea making facilities on landing.
Price Cleanliness Staff
Radiator stuck on full blast Shared toilet Small room(but you get what you pay for)
Staff friendly and welcoming. Beautiful old building but let go.
Bathroom..lino torn and filthy. Would not get in the bath!!Badly needs refurbishing. Bedroom ok for cheapness but no bedside cabinet or bedside light. I have photos if you want to see the problems. No food available not even bar snacks.
Homely Feel with a friendly atmosphere
Rooms could do with a decoration
Staff were friendly and did give us a refund
A guest from the downstairs bar was rude aggressive and racist towards my partner. The room wasnt clean it had mould all the way up the wall no tv or wifi, we left 10 mins after arriving.
cleanliness was poor no ensuite
Staff were friendly and helpful
The bathrooms were not really looked after properly, but part of that was because of other guests
no shower in room. unable to use the bathroom, when ever I went some was already using the room. on both days I ended up by having a hand wash in the sink in the room I booked.
Filthy room, Filthy shared bathroom, 1 lamp only working in room, 1 plug socket as others were OVER THE DOOR FRAME!!!!!! Tea/coffee facilities a joke, how you are expected to fill a kettle when I could spit more than the bathroom tap. Also I point out they didnt even know we had booked and wished now they hadnt got a spare room for us!!!
What did we like the bed had springs that you feel bathroom filthy so run down parking facilities were none
No room key, filthy room, wallpaper hanging off, dirty bed linen, no toilet roll.....the list goes on. We booked last minute as we could have our daughter in with us, and realised it may be you get what you pay for, but really!!??? This place should be shut down !!! Disgusting, please do use reviews as reference as we wish we would of taken notice now!!
Contractors hotel from the 70s
A restaurant down the road that did brilliant mixed grill
Very very poor standard of accommodation. Dirty, damp, dangerous electrics and furniture. I would say you get what you pay for but have stayed in vastly superior places for the same money. Didn't have any wifi despite advertising it. Very bad
Staff tried very hard and were very helpfull
Basic facilities, shared bathroom
Great location overlooking Bromyard town square and friendly staff. Low-cost accommodation (from GBP 20). Shared tea and coffee making facilities.
In serious need of renovation. Carpets worn out and grubby. Mattresses shot-through. Peeling wallpaper. Mucky shared bathroom with leaky taps. Budget accommodation for the undiscerning traveller - certainly not for a holiday, romantic weekend away or business travel!
The long wait for our room as could not find booking and then although we booked via booking.com would not take payment on card, even though we had agreed to pay by cheque on arrival would not take cheques or cards
Empty beer cans at side entrance. Carpeting in reception hall covered in dog hair. Wallpaper moulding and falling off the wall. Tables in room still had rings from previous occupiers drinks. Light in room did not work. Beds about 50 years old and wonky. Holes in the walls. Wires hanging from ceiling where smoke alarm or light was. Window frames rotten and draughty. No ensuite... Had to use upstairs pub toilet... Wee all over floor, smelt vile, sink had black dirt smeared around it. Walls thin enough to hear landlady coughing all through the night and then having sex the following morning. Main bathroom on top floor falling apart. Lots of potential to be a homeless persons shelter.
Nothing at all
For only 30 gbp You can't expect anything. You get absolute nothing at all
all of it
It was cheap and had parking outside.
Communal toilet facilities, rooms were not tidy/cleaned properly nor was the bathroom. No key for our door. Plaster coming off the walls and a poor selection of drinks at the bar.
They were happy to take the dog - didn't charge any extra. At least there was a sink in the bathroom. Rooms being on 3rd floor meant it wasn't too noisy.
Landlady did her best but potentially quite daunting if you were a nervous sort to walk in as a single woman - lots of heckling from the locals in the bar! Room very basic - electrics dodgy, sheets may have been used. Shared bathroom pretty awful.
staff friendly. that's it !!!
coding stop couple needing stop over , bunk beds!!! linen didn't look clean shared toilet disgusting, hadn't been cleaned in years. no tv. lighting a fire waiting to happen. we know it was cheap but we still expect a standard of cleanliness. don't go there!!!!
