staff friendly. that's it !!!
coding stop couple needing stop over , bunk beds!!! linen didn't look clean shared toilet disgusting, hadn't been cleaned in years. no tv. lighting a fire waiting to happen. we know it was cheap but we still expect a standard of cleanliness. don't go there!!!!
Friendly staff and dogs made welcome
Room very basic and not too clean, place needs a face lift, some money spending on it
I was offered an alternative room in the 'sister' hotel in Leominster at the same rate.
This hotel was appalling and we walked out to spend the night in the car. Cleaner and not as risky!
Pub is right in the centre of town,we stayed on a Saturday night & there was a live band who were great! Staff recommended somewhere to eat & we got a discount at the cafe next door fir breakfast as we stayed there! It was cheap & cheerful - just wished we could have gone to the Science Fiction Centre!!
Can only pay in cash & the WiFi was a bit dodgy.
Friendly staff Value for money Great live music the night I stayed, from band "the blue bishops"
The staff, the location, bromyard town and locals all very welcoming, will visit the town again.
Dirty bedding, unclean pillows, bathroom rotten, music on full blast, until early hours.
location . if you like pubs this is ok ,
no tv in rooms no toilet no shower had a comuinal between all the rooms , no toilet paper , as this was a stopover and cheap ok for the price , depending what day you come , if there is a band playing can be very loud all night . general cleanness of room poor
Location was perhaps the best thing on the positive side.
Stain on bed sheet. However, we had taken sleeping bags and pillows. So overcame that. Black bits were on bunk bed in room - not sure if they were droppings or something else. Shared bathroom light did not work. Street lighting provided some light.
Excellent service from the owner of the Hotel. Don't know about the actual room or bed, bar, what you pay for, is what you get. Reason being is that this web Booking.com is very poor, as it keeps overbooking her rooms and does Not take any notice when they are being advised that all rooms are full. I was in that pedicament as well as another customer, and we both booked last minute. The landlady helped us fantastically and took us to a nearby hotel. However for this reason I highly recommend to phone her first! She is extremely helpful and if need be will very happily recommend nearby accommodation. But it seems this website has a habit of double booking rooms for other hotels as well!
It was a total disaster from start to finish. First we were given keys to an occupied room, then we were finally given a room which was none too clean and I'm not convinced that the bedding was clean either. The bathroom was disgustingly dirty. The noise levels were horrendous and there was a fight on the Saturday night which resulted in two windows being smashed. The owner was drunk most of the time and the clientele of the pub were rough!!!!
The fact that we could bring our pet dog.
Staff were friendly
Standards of cleanliness hole in ceiling which then leaked on the second night and had to be moved to another room. On the first night dog poo on the stairs which my partner didn't see and stepped in it
Price (Paid £20 which was less than the price I booked it for!) Bed comfortable Pretty location
I blame myself for all of this as I should have read the reviews from others more carefully - I just through I was getting a value deal but I didn't like the fact there was: No TV in bedrooms Shared bathroom No cupboard in my bedroom Creaky floorboards everywhere so other residents movements very noticeable Poorly washed cups in shared tea and coffee making location General feeling of darkness, grubbiness and being run down
Bit of a weird musty smell in the room.
The bed was all but broken, there was one bathroom to service 9 bedrooms, it was filthy. There was a sink in my bedroom but the water wouldnt drain away and it was dirty and smelly. I slept in my clothes all night with a chair wedged under the door handle because I was spooked by the other noisy over excited guests. I left in the morning having had very little sleep, I hadn't showered or even cleaned my teeth because of the filth. Disgusting!
The refund we received as we left..20 minutes after arriving!
The lining hanging below the curtains...the broken sofa in the room...no basin in the room...the shared toilets with the public using the bar downstairs...the broken door handle...the screwdriver we were given when the door handle failed....no bath or shower available...no light in one of the 2 toilets.no toilet paper in either toilet...only one light in the room..no lamps
The staff were layed bak
Not very clean and enough imfomation on arrival
Food and hospitality and general vibe of the place
Water pressure particularly the shower and my bed needed reconstructing but overall you get what you pay for it was an adventure, I will be back especially for price. Just sort out shower and bed
The manager who was on his own for around 10 rooms tried very hard.
Payment must be by cash in advance bedroom has no TV bedroom light not working Hot water takes +/- 5 minutes to arrive in room or bathroom Toilet handle half broken Breakfast primitive
The restaurant up the road.
Late night drinkers till 3 in the morning. People shouting and screaming at this time. Filthy communial bathroom, damp in the bedroom. When leaving people lying asleep in the bar from the night before
The room was very large and the beds were extremely comfortable. Food was nice and the atmosphere was very friendly as were the staff.
The bathroom was a fair distance from the room, and the only one serving about 8 rooms. Got somewhat congested in the mornings and at bedtimes.
Staff were very friendly, this place is cheap. Ideal for a stop-over on a budget. Bedding was clean and new.
There's only one shared bathroom, for the entire hotel and it's in need of refurbishment.
Beds were to soft Water was cold Shower had no pressure No tv in room No wifi like advertised All floors in the building were unleavel and creaking
