Before booking this hotel I I read all the reviews so was a little cynical from the beginning, was hard to find which I was expecting, we had a group booking of 6 families and they managed to muddle up the rooms, we weren’t given the rooms we booked online and one of us were given a tiny room with a bunk bed instead of a family room with a double bed, the carpets were stained and dirty and had a strange smell, the deck outside was full of rubbish, rooms need refurbishment, we were promised another room as we were staying 2 nights but was never fulfilled, the second day got a text from the management saying if we don’t clean the rubbish on the deck (which was there prior to our arrival) we would be asked to leave. Next day comes the unprofessional, rude, bad mannered hotel manager telling us: ‘if you don’t clean the rubbish on the deck were gonna have to ask ya to leave’’ this unpleasant lady was very disrespectful as she didn’t acknowledge the fact whether the rubbish was there or not but then starts to argue and quarrel that we made the mess, I wonder how she is the hotel manager fits description of maybe a bouncer at a nightclub, she has absolutely zero customer service skills, as I was explaining the issues we had (water leaking from upstairs and damaging clothes in one rooms, no mobile signal, hot water during the day only at certain times) she didn’t seem like she was interested was too busying occupying her smartphone, her presence made me feel riled up. I mentioned between my family that we may contact the Trading Standards to which the manger then snapped at me saying: if you contact Trading Standards I am gonna have to tell you to leave’ which sums her awful attitude up. Also the hotel doesn’t feel really safe and secure anybody can come in and go at any time.
views from the balcony, sea view rooms, free parking, comfy beds, friendly housekeeper that’s probably tired of listening to the same complaints from people over the years.
