Clean accomodation, friendly staff

Room was right by the front door. Could here everyone as they were leaving and entering the building late at night. Disturbed by people who were up early for breakfast as could hear everything from the hall/ reception area. Although was a nice B & B very overpriced

Upon entering we felt welcome and at home. The interior was to an immaculate standard and the staff were excellent.

Felt advert misleading as initially thought I had booked spa hotel.

We had such a lovely weekend. All of the staff were friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. We felt relaxed from the moment we set foot in the hotel and the offer of a cup of tea while we filled in relevant paperwork was just a lovely touch which made such an impression. The beds were comfy and tastefully decorated. We bought some wine and they kindly let us borrow an ice bucket and glasses. The breakfast was superbly cooked and there was a good choice of options.

It was all simply perfect. There was nothing I didn't like, we only wished we could have stayed longer.

Staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. We will be going back.

The room we originally booked on the booking.com website was actually very small and poky and not how the photos perceive it to be.

I loved everything. The staff were absolutely fabulous. The nicest people, warm welcome, excellent service in the dining room. They couldn't do enough for you. All our needs were taken care of it was a very relaxing stay. We would recommend this hotel to anyone.

The wooden floor too noisy. The water of shower too cold and too strong.

The location was fantastic, a 2 min walk to Windermere shops/pubs/restaurants, and a 10 min walk to bowness. The staff were VERY accommodating, and could not do enough to help us. Breakfast was fantastic, beautiful decor, and the spa bath in the rooms is brilliant! An all round fantastic hotel and holiday.

Polite staff. The sherry was a nice touch.

Broken tiles in the bathroom and a little mould. A few stains on the carpets in the bedroom.

the style of the rooms. I wanted ultimate luxury and found in the retreat. The bed was very comfortable and loved the bathroom just beautiful .

Room was spotless, fantastic comfy bed. Staff really helpful and friendly. Really good breakfast.

The 4 poster bed was big n comfy. Staff were really welcoming, location just right.

Clean and friendly atmosphere for a guest house.

Wifi connections in bedroom not as efficient as should be and cost of room high for what was received.

I didnt like how the advertise the hotel on line it makes you think they have the Spa and pool on site? Thus I thought the price of £162.50 per night was a little more than it should have been . the Old England Hotel where the pool and Spa were was cheaper to stay. All in all I thought it was a very nice bed and breakfast I wouldnt really stay there again.

The room was on the ground floor at the front of the bnb right by reception so not very private, could hear everyone coming and going and receptions conversations

The staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough to assist us. The breakfast was a great start to the day!

We stayed in the meregill room, very noisy. It's situated above the utility and kitchen so you get plenty of noise from there, and just pray you so not get a chap snooring in the room next to you! The jets in the bath had not been cleaned out so when my partner turned them on out came hair and dirt from other guests. Not pleasant!

The staff were a credit to the stay couldn't be any more helpful or pleasant. The huge bed in the retreat and the air bath are to did for.

Although i would stop there again there were a few things i didn't like. The t.V in the bathroom didn't work on certain channels and when it did it would jump. Squeaky doors! Bathroom. So loud at night time. And just general attention to detail as its become a bit weathered now.
