“ It is unique, quirky, eclectic. Unlike any other hotel we have stayed in before. Some lovely touches and everyone was so friendly ”

Just a short distance from the world-famous Ironbridge, this charming hotel has an excellent location from which to explore all of the region’s attractions, as well as a 2 AA Rosette award-winning restaurant. Just a short journey away from Telford, Wolverhampton and Shrewsbury, the hotel’s location is great for a relaxing or romantic getaway. The hotel offers lavishly decorated bars with original beamed ceilings and is oozing with quirkiness from the moment you enter. There are 10 bedrooms all unique in design, but each offering patchwork, lavender-scented sheets. Some of the rooms even have velvet-covered swings! The oldest part of the hotel is the 14th century half-timbered thatched barn, which was once used as a courthouse in medieval times. The restaurant has received many awards, including 2 AA Rosettes for the outstanding preparation of its food and the good quality of the ingredients it uses. The hotel also offers facilities to cater for conferences and parties, large and small. The hotel meets all your requirements under one roof. Hotel Rooms: 10, Hotel Chain: Recommended Hotels. Quirky, interesting interior design, good food and wine at reasonable prices. Hearty breakfast after a good night's sleep. The Ladies toilets - hole in a bench w.c. and response tap that didn't work.

The ambiance and the styling of the hotel decor. someone achieved what we would all wish to do, be original, tasteful and individual. The food is second to none. They could only accommodate us for one night.

Everything was perfect, excellent accommodation, excellent food and the staff were all extremely helpful. There was nothing we could fault with our weekend stay at Hundred House Hotel, it was a great base for exploring the Ironbridge area. We would recomend a stay here at anytime.

The hotel is quiet, quirky and the staff are very friendly. We were disappointed by one meal and, during our second meal, discussed our views with the head chef who was very willing to listen to our comments

Upon arrival the welcome from the staff was extremely friendly. I was shown to my room which was spacious, clean and very comfortable. Pillows and duvet good quality, not the budget hard flat pillows so many hotels use! The evening meal was first class; breakfast the same. I travel a great deal with my job and therefore stay in many hotels. As a female solo traveler it's so nice to stay somewhere friendly and comfortable which I don't find very often. I couldn't fault it!

Staff were very helpful and considerate and rooms were very clean very quirky style The room we stayed in had very little space to relax other than the bed with only one chair in room. Other rooms were more spacious as we saw in the morning so would definitely request one of them specifically on a return trip.

Great food and real ale! Staff were great and the breakfast was really nice. My room (245) was a bit tight. The bed took up most of the room and I was unable to open the window unless I scrambled across the bed! However, the bed was very comfortable

The room we were given was fantastic. There were too many little finishing touches to mention, but you could tell that there was care and attention in every detail. In fact the whole hotel had been prepared with care and attention. It seemed like everyone really cared that you had a great time. We had a meal in the restaurant, which was fantastic. We were advised to take a walk around the hotel flower garden and herb garden, which were both really lovely. There really is nothing bad to say about this hotel, in our experience.

Our favourite aspect of the hotel was its old world charm, it could be described as quirky but only in a very positive way. When you first step through the hobbit like front door you enter a hotel that people have put a lot of thought and care into. As you are led to your room the anticipation grows in respect what you will find behind your door, and for us we were not disappointed in respect to the décor, the furniture, the bathroom facilities and of course the swing. Yes a swing. The garden around the hotel matches the interior, with its secret gardens that lead you from the beer garden, to the herb garden and into the informal garden where rabbits can be found.

Rustic old world charm. Attractive and Interesting decor. Spacious room. Excellent food although slow service in restaurant. I would stay there again. Had to ask for a menu. Other people who arrived in the restaurant after us had there orders taken before us. After 30 mins I had to ask the waitress to take our order - she was apologetic and offered us a free round of drinks.

The program of gourmet food meals and the little extra flourishes even at breakfast. Wedding function catered for very well. Our room was a little cramped but we say others that were a good size.
