I loved the atmosphere of the hotel, the staff were very friendly and helpfull and everything was nicely relaxed. Food was nice and service excellent, rooms were great. They even posted my shoes onto me when I stupidly forgot them. |

location is very good. Grounds are well kept. Food is good. All in all a good value for money comfortable hotel. Not a lot of bar space for a large function. Excellent if weather is good as grounds are spacious, but if weather is inclement it would be very cramped. |

Very helpful and welcoming staff and the room was quiet and well layed out. Hotel is very pleasant with nice bar and restaurant. Bed was not good standard - soft and sagging into the middle - mattress should be replaced. |

The bar snack and the young manager were a credit to the pub chain. I had the worst nights sleep ever in the hotel ,the bed promised so much but delivered very little at all;eg comfort |

The staff were really friendly and helpful. We were staying for lunch after our overnight stay and the manager said we could keep the room until after lunch. It was mothers day and I got a free flowering plant! The bar and restaurant was relaxing and the food was good value. The bathroom had molton brown bath products which were great. |

Hotel was lovely but our room was a little dark. I think it was slightly overpriced. We had an evening meal in the restaurant which was excellent. The service was good and the staff were friendly. Lovely continental breakfast with fresh fruit etc. Would certainly stay again but in a different room. |

Food and staff were lovely No - maybe just a mention on boooking.com that it is not in Lboro but village just outside (just as I had to call as taxi driver didnt know where it was) The smell in the corridor smelled like a dark room ould just do with some airspray or fresh flowers on landing. Although was a lovely room and restuarant/bar |

The diffference from the usual run of the mill accommodation The room (Biko) needed a comfy chair or two. The lavatory seat is a rather cheap one. I think for the price a full breakfast should be included. |

Pleasant staff It smelled awful. We were booked for three nights but left after one. The dining tables were all scarred as if a schoolboy had been let loose with a penknife. Hotel needs complete refurbishment. Website mesleading as to quality. |

Friendliness of staff, quality of food was excellent and at very reasonable prices. Vegetarians had a wide choice of dishes, which makes a change! the setting - it is a really quaint hotel with large outdoor seating area. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. |

Offered everything we wanted to help us complete the celebrations of our son's graduation. A comfortable hotel, with unique styled rooms and good food such there was no reason to go elsewhere. |
