Good breakfast. Very nice village location. Friendly staff. Lovely room.
Beware dogs everywhere had free run of bar & restaurant friendly but! We were given wrong WiFi code. Breakfast finished far too early 9am & 9:30 on Sunday.
Good food, helpful staff. Bathroom clean, linen immaculate
No car park - a real problem. There is a lot to be done to bring the pub up to the standard it deserves, but the tenant knows this and is working on it. Bedroom/bathroom lighting is bad.
The staff were all friendly and helpful The bed was comfortable Nice touches like fresh milk in the room as opposed to UHT
A little noisy on the friday night when full of lively people till late. Kitchen fan under our window was also noisy
Rooms and food were excellent
Noise from the road No wifi in rooms
The staff were all extremely helpful.
No mobile phone connectivity. I never managed to connect to the wi.fi.
The comfortable room and toiletries
Loss of wifi connection in room....
Welcoming, hard working staff. Relaxed feel about the Inn. Good food and facilities
Room overlooked kitchen yard and was a little noisy if you wanted and early night.
Stayed three nights. Excellent "olde-worlde" style pub in rural location with great food, breakfast and evening meals. In easy reach of Bournemouth and other resorts if that's what you want as well. Would recommend to others.
The wardrobe in the room had no cross rail, only three hooks, which all our clothes had to go on.
The owner - very friendly and cares about her business The food & beer The superior rooms are spacious and thoughtfully decorated. All in all good value and would return
The pillows - too hard The wifi - erratic
But not Great
The hotel in general is great.the local area and walks recommended by the hotel were fantastic. really tasty well cooked breakfast.
Noisy fan outside our room vibrated through every morming and evening.
very friendly staff
Noisy fan and limited Wi-fi
We were made to feel most welcome by the staff, especially the proprietor. Our evening meal was first rate and well priced. Breakfast menu offered plenty of choices, our smoked haddock and poached egg were perfect and we had proper coffee. Our room was tastefully furnished and very well equipped the on-suite immaculate and modern. We will certainly visit again and recommend the Inn to our friends and family.
Nicely designed rooms all clean and up to date, lovely big shower
Wifi wouldn't work
Staff, decoration, cleanliness, breakfast
Busy road, room above bar with noisy guests, no milk for tea in room, 1 bath towel to share as couple.
Very welcoming staff & owner. The room was beautiful. Fresh coffee & milk & variety of teas in room. Restaurant lovely, very good value for money. We would certainly go back.
1. Staff 2. Room 3. Food breakfast great 4. Comfort 5. Price
1. Wifi poor 2. Little or no Mobile Phone reception
Attention to detail througout the Inn and excellent food
The room was spacious and the staff where friendly
The meals where to expensive the wifi was hard to get on no phone signal for most providers . The problem with this pub/b&b is that it's in the middle of nowhere but they think it's four star hotel. The other problem is that I don't like a shower without a cubicle and they had one of those showers that you sprayed yourself with not stand under
Parking and clean room with bath, always a bonus. Great designer toiletries available to borrow during stay and buy at end of stay - expensive but great stuff.
Food overpriced so we went to nearby Sheath of Arrows and had probably the tastiest and best priced pie and pint ever. Staff communication, or lack of meant that we missed breakfast.
The meal was superb (dinner) The owner was very welcoming The room was charming The bar was very agreeable The village is very attractive
The breakfast was ordinary
The food was lovely and the room was nice, with a very comfy bed.
I was travelling on business and dependent upon wi-fi and mobile signal - both were unavailable for the whole stay.
Too many flies in restaurant and noiseless
Friendly staff, lovely clean room with pleasant décor. We ate in the pub on our first night and thought the food was excellent although the service was a little slow.
Our room was at the back of the Inn, noisy because of a Real Ale festival. Difficult to have window open as room was above air extractor from the kitchen and two large wheelie bins which did smell a bit because of the hot weather.
