I found the owner both helpful and friendly. The room was comfortable and well equipped and breakfast was very good. I would thoroughly recommend this b&b as perhaps the best in the area.
Watching the red kites from the bedroom early in the morning. We loved Winnie - the dog!
It would have suited us to have earlier breakfast times at the weekend , but later on Monday morning.
Lovely place to stay. Clean, tidy, peaceful. The landlord and his wife were very pleasant. They were courteous at all times and very helpful. The freshly cooked food was excellent and beautifully presented. We will definitely stay there again if we visit the area.
Quiet, plenty of space in room and excellent cooked breakfast. Liked having a bath as well as shower.
Wi fi a bit patchy
Clean & comfortable but decor tired
Noise from room above ruined our sleep

Easy to find
Hats off to Jerry and his lively wife for providing a most lovely time while attending the Towersey Folk Music Festival. The inn is very conveniently located, welcoming, comfortable, attractive, with top notch breakfasts. Go for Jerry's wine selections. He knows his wine.
Good location for our particular visit. Very clean room and pleasant service, not forgetting the excellent breakfast.
Comfortable spacious room, pleasant rural location.
Kettle didn't work, no biccies. No veggie cooked breakfast option. Gorgeous location, but room was a bit plain. Felt like a small Premier Inn.
Cheap matress and curtains
The Quality of breakfast was good . Also it was good to have tea and coffee making facilities the room . The only member of staff was pleasant enough !
The toilet did not flush very well . The room and space was very basic and the carpet really tired and a little grubby . The room needs an update . It was ok for one night . If the room was good as the breakfast it would be great !
comfortable room lovely view from bedroom window
not a very generous full English breakfast
Location Breakfast peacefulness
Inn closed when I got there at 3.30pm and felt I was intruding on staff time off. Shower very weak flow.
Clean and value for money
Dogs staying n the hotel - they barked for a period in the night.
Cleanliness Friendly, helpful staff Good, clean and reliable facilities Good bar food, definitely above average Nicely cooked breakfast Easy parking
Unfortunate smell in the lobby from the inn's toilets which is the first thing that greets visitors. Didn't see into the loos as we had a room, but this really is a shame as everywhere else is spotless.
Friendly helpful staff. Good facilities in the room and it was clean. Restaurant food was excellent.
Bed was very comfortable Very clean room
Curtains didn't overlap letting light in
Very clean, friendly small hotel in quiet location.
Really close to town easy to find, lovely breakfast, polite staff, onsite parking
Overall price alittle steep. If £70 would have stayed 2 nights
This is a very well-situated country inn for motorway access. The rooms are in a separate building just a few steps away from the bar and restaurant area. Dog-friendly, very easy-going and pleasant staff and a very nice freshly-cooked breakfast in the morning. The attractive inn has an extensive menu of bar food and restaurant meals, and the food was excellent. There is also a beer garden for the sunnier days. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, and it was quiet throughout the night. Good free Wi-Fi connection.
Nothing really to criticise, possibly a little over-priced - but then, it's Oxfordshire!
Helpful and friendly owner
Breakfast at 08.30 on Saturday too late for us but owner flexible and allowed us to have cornflakes and toast at 08.00 reducing the price to reflect this
Very friendly staff and great menu for evening meal
Bathrooms could probably do with a bit of an upgrade
Wifi was good and password was easy obtained etc
The best way to describe was "bare minimum" Room was borderline depressing
Nice friendly place with all the basics at a fair price. The bed was very comfortable.
