Price and location, view of the Ben
The chips weren't to my liking
Relaxed and friendly atmosphere, lovely food ....ideal for a nice quiet chilled getaway
No lifts to upper floors
Nice big room
Location was great- we stayed in the beach house and our room overlooked the loch.
Location good, very good value for money.
The view is stunning the location is fantastic. The staff are all very friendly welcoming and helpful. Hotel is modern fresh and clean the food and drink are also excellent I will be back.
Nothing loved it all
Kept up to date with problems and for inconvenience got a free dinner
Very good value for money
The view,location,the band,food, comfortable,warm and cosy
Although lovely think the food was a bit pricey
The location and views The interior of main restaurant and bar - very cosy! The room was lovely, very spacious with a nice view of the gardens The food in evening was delicious! Great value for money
The room above had really creaky floors which was quite disturbing. No wifi in the beach house which would have been nice (not a negative just a nice to have!)
Food was excellent staff lovely great atmosphere and live band was a bonus
Wifi in bea have house did not work at all. Not to worried as not really there to go on Internet.
Fantastic location for walks, pubs and of course the beautiful loch view. Food was okay.
Given the size of the Inn, expected a more personal service and warmer welcome. A little too formal for this little Inn and little flexibility or ability to adapt to individual guest requests. Wouldn't rush back
Appropriate style and environment to match the excellent location. Access to good leisure facilities. Robert Carmichael, singer, guitarist was excellent entertainment in the bar at night.
Nothing about the venue itself. However, food quality OK rather than excellent. Staff forgot to deliver the dessert and when reminded, we were told kitchen had closed and coffee machine switched off, very disappointing.
The staff were all very friendly and helpfull a pleasure to watch them all chipping in and helping each other and looking after all the guest
What I did not like was they take money out of your bank account and you have to wait for it to go back into your account they told me it can take up to a week to get it back which I think is very poor all they have to do is swipe your card and they have all your details no need to take cash out of your account and put it into a holding account if they can do that they can put it back into your account when you check out
We had the ground floor room in Beach House directly facing on to the Loch - views to die for. Very well appointed bathroom.
No WiFi in the Beach House. The black pudding at breakfast could have been used for hockey pucks.
food was not great breakfast was poor had to get bathroom cleaned when we arrived
It's right next to Loch Lomond, if you are lucky enough to get a room with a view you won't be disappointed. The room was spacious, comfortable and had everything we needed.
We requested a double bed room but we got two singles squished into a double. The food service was slow for dinner
Loved the scenic location. Hotel had a cosy feel to it, food was excellent! Beach house lively although not all rooms look on to the loch. Really loved it here though
Girls at reception could have cracked a smile. All other staff were very friendly indeed
Busy with a good atmosphere, loved the Sat night band...Simple October...staff great, our room fresh and clean, great menu selection for evening meals.
We booked an executive room which was in no way executive, the included seating area consisted of one solitary little chair in corner of room, advertised loch view was a smidgen of water seen beyond a full view of the carpark as we were ground floor, soundproofing needed too...The noise from upstairs rooms and the banging, screeching door to the hotel right next to our room was unbearable at times, and hot breakfast needed to be much hotter
Great location and good rooms
Staff were not up the standard of the hotel
Lovely, friendly breakfast staff. Lady made my toast whilst I was getting cooked breakfast. Great choice of food. Lovely Christmas decorations and atmosphere.
Noisy floorboards. Not sure if people below could hear them too as I walked above them!
Even in the wettest of west coast weather, the experience of staying on Lomondside was uplifting. The warm shelter of the Beach House is a great place from which to enjoy the loch. .
More insulation between ground and first floor of the Beach House would improve privacy.
Everything there is not one fault on this place to stay. So good I want to book to come back and stay. From the great staff to the beautiful food and wonderful entertainment.
The band in the bar was excellent!
Lovely clean room, and we were given a personal touch for my partners birthday, very much apprieciated
