La stanza era molto piccola e la pulizia non adeguata. Abbiamo avuto un problema e lo staff non era reperibile in alcun modo. Colazione basica, se si vuole di più bisogna pagare.

Excellent location, close to tube, local shops etc. Clean and comfortable rooms, friendly staff and lovely choice of well cooked food for breakfast.

Staff were nice, and the breakfast was very good. Pub looked nice although we did not get to try it during our 1-night stay. Bed was comfortable.

Our room was small and pokey and a bit shabby in places, although everything worked as it should. No hotel wifi available. Had to open a (free) Cloud Hotspot account.

The setting was convenient for Kew Gardens and the tube.

The room had a loud banging noise throughout the night which kept us awake, which was report to the staff in the morning. The bedside lamp and the extractor fan both didn't work

The hotel is unfortunately on the airport flight path, however this isn't too loud if the windows are shut

we got there early as we had to attend a family wedding, which was at 2pm. although this is official check-in time, David very kindly got housekeeping to get our room ready so that we could get changed and get to the wedding on time. Wonderful staff!

No parking anywhere nearby without a permit. Heathrow flightpath. Rooms need some TLC.

Staff were extremely friendly and offered above and beyond service. Particular gold star to the gent general manager! Lovely crowd in the bar in the evening and good food!

The room was great. Larger than we expected and tastefully decorated. There's a laundromat next door that came in handy if you don't want to have to pay hotel laundry rates... Nice large Bay windows on our room. Located above a good Eglish pub, with good food and beer...

The bathroom had a bad smell, maybe a mould type smell, it was quite strong so we had to keep the door closed all the time.

Chose it for location as we were going to Kew Gardens and also was close to tube for central London.

Had to climb four flights of narrow stairs,; last flight extremely narrow. The room was small. Wifi did not work.

The bedroom was far too small

The rooms are really tired and need some tlc. Our room had no room to move round the bed, the curtains were dirty, the window didn't close properly, one light broken in bathroom, one light without shade, peeling wood on bathroom furniture, no bath mat. This was really nice two years ago but needs some attention. It's expensive £110 for standard of room.

Excellent location, especially close to the tube station. Good facilities with an attractive pub below which had a good restaurant. Rooms were small but nicely decorated with very smart bathrooms. Nice touches here and there (e.g free bottled water in the room). All in all a decent hotel.

Service was very slow for breakfast but the food was worth waiting for. Rooms were not ready until 2pm which is a little late if you only stay for one night.

Busy and very nice gastro pub, nice food served. Excellent breakfast, cooked to your order, nice enviroment to enjoy. A lot of nice pubs/restaurants around. Close to tube.

Parking- easy to park close by, but you cannot leave car all day anywhere around as it is reserved for permitt holders only daily 10-12am. So you have to drive couple of miles, but there are very cheap car parks in Brentford- 6 pounds for 32 hours. Small room and a bit outdated, less comfortable than for example premier inn etc. I would be happy with such hotel room for about 75 quid a night, this was almost 100.

The situaution of the the hotel to the train links is good, walking distance to Richmond is good, approximatly 20mins. The staff are friendly and the public bar has a comfortable feel and good ambiance. Although no car park you can park on the side streets from noon until 10am the next day for free.

The hotel could do with repainting on the outside to look like the picture on the web site and the dressing room table in room ( Larkspur)replacing as the glass frontage is cracked and broken. I would say a fair price for this hotel would be £85.00 per room including breakfast. We paid £110.00 I would may be have been happy with this if care was taken more with the hotel fittings and decor. We would return at some point in the future tho.

hotel war tired and in need of a makeover. our room was not very clean, the bathroom door was affected by damp, the furniture was worn and past its prime, and right under our window, which we opened for some fresh air, peole below smoked and were noisy. breakfast was ordinary. room was expensive. not impressed at all, really.

Situated closed to Kew Gardens and other landmarks as well as the rail network. A good hearty breakfast served by friendly staff.

A wedding party had booked the venue on Saturday night so we were therefore unable to use the bar facilities. Not informed of this at time of booking. Room cold and mattress has seen better days. Rather pokey bathroom. I was expecting better for the price.

It was a very convenient location. The room was spacious and clean.

A horrible green light on the ceiling - obviously a safety light - made it difficult to sleep: the whole room was lit in a green glow! I think these lights should be covered adequately so that they are not intrusive - this one was completely exposed. No free range eggs on the menu, which limited what I was able to have for breakfast. Very, very little vegetarian options on the menu in the evening, and no interest in changing it to accommodate vegetarian clients. Staff were OK, but not very welcoming or friendly. I felt like they did the minimum to give a passable service, and no more than that.

Lunch was excellent! Staff member Therese was particularly efficient and helpful though other staff appeared inexperienced. Room nice but small.

Some members of staff appeared motivated only towards workings of bar/restaurant and oblivious to hotel guests!
