Lovely staff lovely breakfast
The staff and the owner were so friendly we felt like we had known them years. The gentleman who worked over night made sure we had everything we needed. Nothing was too much. Would highly recommend and look forward to returning as tourist next time.
Bed not too comfortable and pillows could have been better.
Taxis cheap and about 5 mins away from city centre and bars. Staff really friendly and great breakfast in the mornings.
The friendliness of the staff and night porter was good. The house was very clean and was a good temperature.
I thought £180 for one night was very steep and not justified. You had to pick a certain time for breakfast which I didn't like as if you're drinking the night before you don't want to be up early. Also we thought we had lost the key for room which we paid £15 to replace it. I phoned the same day to let them know I had it and I was sending it back. I sent it back but was never refunded
Cosy & very helpful and friendly staff
Really great location and staff make you feel welcome as soon as you walk through the doors. I will definitely be returning.
I could not find the wifi password anywhere. This should shown somewhere in the room. I need wifi to work on a night time.
Parking space provided
Everything great place to stop
Checkin out early when been hungover :(
The beds were rock hard and cramed together the room had a foisty smell
Staff generally are friendly and informed. Room was a nice size
Did not enjoy the use of a shared bathroom, however the facility was of good standard. Television was placed in an odd place on the wall, no real comfortable viewing angle. Only 4 milks available in the room for tea and coffee facilities and the ration for tea bags and coffee to the milk was a big difference.
The beds were comfortable, and it was based in a nice area with about a 20-30 minute work to the town. Although, it had nice restaurants nearby.
The room was very small. There was no lift so we had to carry heavy suitcases up many stairs. The shared bathroom was almost always unavailable, and when we could use it the shower wasn't even working! There was no water coming out. We went to the bathroom in the floor below us to show and it just flooded at the bottom of the shower. Will definitely not be staying there again. The price was mist certainly not worth it.
Very friendly and helpful host, simple but clean and comfortable accommodation. Will stay again.
Very friendly staff Breakfast included
The walls and doors are cardboard-thin. The last night of my four-night stay, a bunch of drunk youngsters arrived in their room at 4:30 AM - they shouted, laughed and swore for 2 hours, as if they were on a public market. Needless to say that I couldn't do much sleeping in such circumstances.
Breakfast was yum. Quiet location but close to some good restaurants. Helpful staff.
Difficult to find whilst driving.
It was pretty quiet at night, services provided was very good as well. Breakfast provided was delicious! 25min walk from City Centre, so maybe get a metro from Haymarket/Monument to West Jesmond and it would be easier!
Wifi wasn't that great but overall still not too bad!
Location, staff, atmosphere
Was pretty cheep so we didn't expect too much and got what we expected. Clean room. Free parking
Check in took ages and had to pay on arrival. Got rudely woken up on our final morning Staff/owners were polite until we handed the room key back.
The staff was very friendly and welcoming...the location is great very near City centre and the area is very quiet...I will definaly stay here again
My only problem was at night the heating was on full blast so room was to warm had to sleep with windows shut...didn't get clean towels
This is a basic hotel but has got everything you need. The staff took really good care of us. I even phone them when one of my friends could not find his way home and the night portier waited outside until he found it. The breakfast is nothing fancy but is prepare by some wonderful ladies.
The room that sleeps 3 was spacious, clean, parking on site -limited but good, breakfast was great , the gentleman at night was very nice and helpful.
No wifi, only one toilet roll for 3 people for 2 nights. Room didn't get cleaned when we were out on the Saturday day as promised.
Great value for money. Lovely room and breakfast was great too.
time to leave is not fair
Staff really friendly. Great location near to the bars of osbourne road. The breakfast was also decent. Will stay here again!
Little bar area downstairs is nice for a night cap.
Booked family room for 3 adults with 3 beds. Provided room #3 with 2 beds, no options to change because full on the night, and no acknowledgement of error on their part. We chose the place for the bed accommodations, so not likely to return.
Great staff. Nice little bar area. Breakfast is great. VALUE FOR MONEY! Have visited several times & will be back soon!
