Nothing was treated disgracefully
The staff treatment was beyond rude and unprofessional ruining the whole of our paid stay
Themed, great kitchen facilities, comfy beds, roomy and homely feel, lovely views, great TV system, all round very fun and unusual place to stay. Perfect to celebrate my husband's birthday. Hubby and son are batman/joker mad so absolutely loved it! Second best place we have ever stayed for the fun and experience factor! Highly recommend!!!!
Water drips from windows, hatch door difficult to open, heating was a little dubious and cold. No nearby facilities to get any supplies. No computer facilities as stated. However, these are small things and would highly recommend staying.
The boat was very cosy Warm and comfortable .. We only stayed the 1 night great location to all bars clubs
We like the boat itself also where it was very cosy.
The electric kept tripping the box was outside which was very cold having to keep going out to switch it back on.
the location, the price - excellent value for money, something a bit different.
Nothing bad to say about this. My only comment would be that I didn't think it was a 5 star property, but I still enjoyed it and would stay again.
The electricity just be cut in the midnight with no reasons and it really cold.
I stayed with my family for my sons 21st Birthday. The facilities on the boat were great, short of nothing. Also because there were so many of us we need extra bedding. I rang the owner up and within minutes he was back with brand new bedding (you can't fault that)!!! The boat accommodation made the celebration different and special.
My only concern isnt about the boat its about the bars surrounding. The bars have outdoor seating areas on the inside of the dock, waterside. Its lovely after a meal or just as a drink to sit outside on the lovely rattan furniture. Unfortunately after 10.30 everyone has to go inside. This, unfortunately, would put me off going to the Albert Dock for a night out again.
It was Unique, great location, great facilities and as a last minute booking the price was unbelievably good!
It could do with a little tlc in places, there was a small tear on the sofa and one of the knobs on the cooker was melted but neither of these took away from how good the boat was
Great atmosphere with the neighbouring boats and it was a lot more comfortable than expected. Would definately book again and recommend to others.
Queried info on parking and got a very short response with no advise on prices which wasn't very helpful and we weren't advised a check out time but then told to leave at 11am on the Sunday. There was no warning that the door is really difficult to open - ideally needs two people - and this would not be suitable for some people but it was okay for us.
Location is excellent
Hatch was hard to operate
The photos on the booking site. It was new then!
Noise from neighbouring boats, had to hunt entire boat for sheets to fit the sofa beds, when we found one it was far from fresh feeling! Doors at rear of boat in double bedroom couldn't be locked properly as could a square hatch. "Emergency lighting" was cheap torches stuck to walls, none if which worked. When we checked in the washing machine and dryer where full of wet washing which on the second day if our stay disappeared, meaning someone entered the boat during our stay without our knowledge. Not a family freindly place to stay and only really a 4 berth pretending to be 8.
Amazing service from guy who met us.. Fantastic location . Boat was equipped with everything needed for a perfect stay with friends.. Will be returning soon x
Liked everything couldn't fault the boat
Facilities Location Unique accommodation
clean and well equipped. Our 2 teenagers loved it.
quite expensive and we were woken at 5am by a drunken fight in the boat next door!
The location was perfect as stayed during The Giants visit. Great place to stay with family or friends comfortable and deceivingly spacious...will certainly book again.
The position and the cleanliness were excellent.
Plenty of room Good facilities
The fact there was washing in the machines all weekend
We were surprised at how much room there was on board, very spacious although one of the cabins with 2 single beds not so big. We all enjoyed ourselves on the Joker a little bit of fun & would recommend to anyone
unique conversation piece
local punk kids tried to come in. no real threat.
Everything!! What a fantastic experience. Highly highly highly recommend.
Coming home :(
Really unusual hotel, right in the heart of the docks and the city. Perfect location.
The cleaning could be slightly better but nothing that would put me off going again.
- The novelty of staying on the boat. - The location is fantastic. - The Boat is fantastic inside, like a luxury hotel. - Nice kitchen / lounge - Bedrooms extremely comfortable - Bathroom well equipped and very modern.
Perfect for a last minute booking to be close to the ACC for a conference. Was a very quirky place to stay and very convenient for the conference and restaurants for dinner. It was a very windy night but I'm used to sleeping on boats so the rocking didn't bother me at all.
Generally the boat was exceptionally clean although the floors could have been cleaner - they looked OK but were actually quite dirty.
Fun, unique, and comfortable stay, very good location adjacent to the Albert Dock.
Parking was a bit of a pain. Would be pretty tight with more than 4 or if people were very big/tall.
