The breakfast was very complete. My room was always clean, comfortable and warm. The location is great: St. Pancras is 10 walking and Euston station is just crossing the street. Of course tube and different bus stations are very close.
They don't have a lift.
Rooms warm & clean; reasonable breakfast; staff helpful.
Breakfast time - 7 to 9am sharp - is too restrictive. Stair carpet to breakfast room is very worn out.
Bathroom was good
Bed was small even for a single bed. It was also lumpy and uncomfortable. This is despite the fact that the room was large enough to take a larger bed.
Noise (but it's central London...)
Smell of breakfast in the stairwells to bedrooms better ventilation required
Room extremely small. One person was against the wall when in bed, so had to climb over the other to get out of bed
Excellent location for St Pancras
location, it was comfortable
putting a mature couple staying for more than a week on the 2nd floor with no lifts for the suitcases. And given a small room where you had to do a shuffle around each other and cases.
Near to St Pancras and tube stations. Very pleasant setting in a crescent of elegant houses. All mod cons, comfortable if small room. Good value for money, helpful staff. Would stay again.
Breakfast finished at 9 am which we found a bit of a rush. An extra half hour would have been nice. Also no hot chocolate although advertised as being available.
Breakfast was very ordinary. Staff very unhelpful.
The location to Kings Cross Station was excellent and we had a very comfy family room (travelled with our 13 yr old twins) and our kids rate the wifi as excellent! The breakfast was great and staff helpful. We would definitely stay again :)
The only bad thing was lack of lift -and had to carry heavy luggage up 2 flights of stairs.
liked the fact it was close toEuston Station but far enough off the maninroad to be quiet.......friendly staff small room but bed of a good size as was the bathroom and clean
a small bar for residents or at least a sitting area......(bring in your own bottle and just supply glasses perhaps) would be a bonus........but that is just a small point as there are plenty of eating/drinking bars restaurants etc nearby....
Central location, but so very. quiet . There was no traffic noise at all - amazing when you think the Euston Road is so close! Easy walking distance to tube stations, British Museum and British Library. Great restaurants and pubs close at hand. Modern, compact shower room. Good value, self service breakfast - plentiful and hot. Helpful staff. .Luggage could be left on premises both before check in and after check out..
Tiny third floor bedroom.
Good location between Kings cross and West End Comfortable and quiet helpful staff
Some noise from floor access door
Good location, and good price. The staff was nice both at the reception and at the breakfast.
There was noise on the corridors during one night from a larger group who went back to their rooms, but before that they started to chat loudly.
Neither my partner and I managed a good night sleep. The bed was not comfortable and it was too noisy.
The bed was fab and the breakfast wa sgood. Tea & coffee in the room was greatly appreciated! Loved the Gilchrist & Soames toilettries.
The room was quite small with access only on one side of a double bed. Bathroom was a little small too.
Great location with easy walk to rail and underground stations.1/2 hour easy walk to Leicester Square Very friendly staff, good basic room, small but clean and good en-suite. Good breakfast.
Comfy bed Spotless bathroom
Poor breakfast Broken window pane in bedroom. Front rooms noisy.
We were impressed with the hotel's location as it only took 5 mins to walk from Euston Station. The room was nice with lovely bathroom and staff were very helpful. We were visiting to see a show at the Pheonix theatre so we got a taxi which took about 10 mins so that wasn't too far. I would definitely stay here again.
Can't think of anything bad to say.
If you're going to a show in London, or sightseeing for one or two days, this basic, reasonably priced hotel would be fine. But the lack of space (and comfort) count against it for longer stays. It is in a very quiet location and the staff are courteous and helpful.
Friendly stuff Place
Small rooms! No place to lounge Low value for money!
Excellent location. Equidistant from Russell Sq and Euston underground. Area quiet and safe. Excellent restaurants in the area. Particularly liked the Balfour - Italian - on way to Russell Sq. More.ish cafe across road from Balfour was a lovely breakfast/ lunch option. Britush Library only a stone's throw away.
No lift which didn't bother us. But stairs to 3rd floor- attic space really- are steep. Insulation between rooms at least on 3rd floor is poor- we could hear everything going on next door. Breakfast was not very appetising and service mon- sat finishes at 9am, a little early after a late night!
Good value breakfast. Clean room. Comfortable bed.
Room and shower quite compact - don't expect lots of space. Some visitors may not like the stairs.
Value for money, very clean, location very good, nice area, pleasant staff, plenty of choice for breakfast. All in all i would stay there again.
There was no lift, i personally found this difficult on arrival ,as i was on the third floor and struggled with my suitcase i would not hesitate to stay there again ,but would request first floor. Also the pillows need to be more comfortable.
