This place is due a refurb in a couple of months, plenty needs sorting out to many to mention.
Convenient location for town centre and all public transport. Quiet at night without any disturbance. Good sized room with excellent shower/toilet facilities. Very comfortable room furniture, ideal for relaxing.Friendly manager Albert and all his crew gave first class service
No windows at ground level in room No.4. Better and brighter lighting would help.
The food served from the menu was awful
Friendly and very helpful staff. Excellent breakfast. Easy parking
The whole place was in need of updating. Clean but shabby.
Staff and esp Manager could not do enough for you.Food was excellent esp full English breakfast. Very central for amenities. Would definitely stay there again. My mother and I had a great holiday, stayed 6 nights
Really friendly/helpful staff. Bed was fantastic
£70 per night. Mould in the bathroom Branch/Plant growing through the skylight. Smelt a bit damp
Good Location, very nice breakfast and very friendly.
Comfortable rooms, good wifi connection, nice English breakfast.
The full English breakfast was superb and the sevice was excellent. The rooms are en-suite with a very good shower. The Inn is situated on a road junction in the middle of Dorchester in easy reach of shops and restaurants. The Inn also has a very good, reasonable food menu which is served all day
The mattress was a little hard but we still slept okay.
Unfortunately it was not as advertised. Hairdryer and TV did not work. Breakfast not provided in time.WIFI was too slow.
Location and price .stayed on a monday but I think it could be noisy at weekends
The rooms were large with simple but pleasant furnishings. The shower had a good flow of hot water. There was the expected hospitality tray and a TV with a decent screen size. Food, both breakfast and the evening bar menu, was to a good standard and good value. Knowing that this was a pub, we expected some noise, but it was not as bad as we expected it to be, although I would not want to be here for more than a couple of nights.
The room myself and my wife were in - Number 4 - had a leaking valley where 2 roofs join, and consequently one wall had damp patches from a few days of heavy rain, which had caused a musty smell in spite of 2 air fresheners in the room. Car parking on site is very limited.
Helpfulness of staff met
Central to Dorchester. Staff were great and really helpful. Great value for money
Needed more ventilation in the room especially in middle of Summer. Just needs a little bit of TLC.
Great Location. Bus stop close by & good bus service, Bar & staff very good. Rooms were very clean. No complaints.
Staff very good, especially the manager, nothing too much trouble. Very convenient position.
It is not the tops, but good value for money. I would definitely stay again.
Location was great right in middle of town
Its a gasto pub basically, so a lot of regulars hanging around outside in smoking area, im glad I went mid week as disco on sat nights so wouldnt have got any sleep
Manager and staff could not have been more friendly and helpful, The food could not be faulted. Would recommend to anyone. Would definitely stay again.
Wood work is in a state of decay. Not as clean as one would like. Food only pub standard.
Great location for Dorchester and trips out in the local area. Room was huge and facilities more than adequate. The breakfasts were fantastic and very plentiful. Perfect start to a day out. The staff were very helpful and polite. Food in the hotel/pub was outstanding, I recommend eating there in the evening.Parking was limited but we had no problems at anytime.
Slight smell of damp in the room.
Both pub and room decor looking a bit grubby. Could do with a deep clean and new coat of paint
Breakfast was very good.
£40 per night cheaper than Weymouth where I was working. Breakfast was ok and the morning staff friendly.
The (superior) room was really tired and in need of some tlc. The evening meal was lame and the staff seemed disinterested. All in all, the place did not live up to its description on your site.
Location friendly staff good basic clean pub accommodation good food
The staff were friendly and helpful. Location good, breakfast good
The decor/furnishings a bit run down. Doesn't matter that much as the place was friendly, but initially it did not inspire confidence
