Staff lovely Room clean and plenty of room Friendly Quiet Food lovely
Close to shops, station, Wimbledon common. Easy access from M25. Clean rooms, comfortable beds. Organic Cafe downstairs.
A bit hot in top rooms but fans provided.
The location was perfect -- very close to train, tube and bus but quiet and restful. The hotel was appointed to a very high standard and surprisingly roomy for a small hotel. Breakfast was excellent, as is the restaurant in the hotel.
Very little to complain about. Stairs may be difficult for less able people, though there are rooms on the ground floor. The rooms lacked air conditioning but did have table fans.
Made us feel very welcome. Nice small restaurant with good food and Gluten free!
The quality of the room and its cleanliness and space. Lighting was good unlike many hotels. Parking was always available.
Large room Location, close to station and Wimbledon facilities Parking
Breakfast Shower location (either you had to bend double behind a screen or water went everywhere)
Good small hotel right next to town centre. Nice staff and good value
Room was a bit on the small side , bit more b&b style but fine
Staff were helpful and friendly. Handy location for town centre.
limited parking could be a problem. It would be good to see alternative parking listed on website in case all spaces are taken.
Traffic noise , needs better glazing.
staff - bed - wifi - tea and coffee
bathroom same size as the bedroom - noisy as there is no door between reception and the room i was staying in
Spotlessly clean - everything we needed - perfect location for local wedding and friendly & helpful staff.
The breakfast was really poor. I do not recommend to pay for it
The Location and the Wi-Fi. It is clean.
Small room. Very small room. If I opened my arms I would touch both walls... witch were completely permeable to the next room's sound The bed-side table was absolutely full, with the lamp, hotel welcome flyer, cafe flyer, guest info and a fan. Not even an inch for your personal belongings, so something has to be on the floor. The bathroom was downstairs. The breakfast is edible, but expensive for what it is. Check-out is too soon (10.30h)
The feeling of being in a small traditional and familiar run hotel, well located, very clean and served by all facilities.
N/AA small familiar
wifi cleanliness cozy
location suited us as we were attending a wedding close by. staff were helpful, allowed us to check in early to get ready for wedding when we arrived. lovely cafe on site where we waited while they got our room ready. comfortable and clean.
couldn't stand up in the shower in our room without poking my head and shoulders out the skylight, did not really bother me as shower was in bath so possible to sit - I found it more funny than anything! check in is quite early (10.30), however, we weren't rushed out on the dot so they might again be able to accommodate late check out if requested?!
Everything especially : Cool cotton sheets, the kettle and terrific bathroom.
Clearly, any hotel by a road in Wimbledon will have noise issues. But Florence on reception managed to move us to a quieter and cooler room, which thankfully helped resolve a bad experience. So good marks for that. Food good, healthy drinks good. Second room lovely. Florence, reception, again was lovely. Owner , manager also very nice to chat to. The young Chinese waitress at breakfast was lovely, very friendly and helpful. Location for Wimbledon and travel into London very good.
Our first room, number 3, being road side, South facing, was unbearably hot. Would not have continued stay if not able to move room. Could not open windows at night for road issues, which of course did not help. Bit disappointed that we were charged extra for change of room without being advised so. The older Chinese waitress at breakfast, sadly was not easy to talk to, language barrier, so could be better. Of course should our Summers always be like this one, air conditioning would be essential.
Good traditional English B&B hotel. Clean and cozy house. Close to Wimbledon tube station.
single bed is quite small : (
rooms clean and modern, breakfast excellent ,serving staff efficient and pleasant nice surroundings to eat on a sunny day, gave the feel good factor ,walking distance from station and shops.
Room and bed were ok, and equipped. Staff was friendly and helpful. Location was good and only 5 min walk from railway station.
Breakfast was too early for me.
Convenient to get to from the station. Comfortable room and good service.
Breakfast was cheap but not very good.
The Shower was really powerful. The huge bath towels were as unexpected as the powerful showers. The inclusion of a fan in the room - we stayed on a very hot night. The outdoor seating area/cafe was a real bonus. Proximity to good restaurants.
Sadly the noise of the road disturbed us (we live in a rural setting so are not used to so much going on around us)
Good hotel with pleasant staff a good stay
