Beautiful guest house with lovely people running it. A big AAA
Nothing to dislike
1 Lady of the house tried very hard to be nice
1 Breakfast minimal. 2 slices of white, 1 slice of brown not asked if we wanted top up 2 noisy and not very effective toilet. had to flush several times to clear. 3 beds hard 4 overpowering smell of bleach in room. 5 Man ( and chef ) of the house seemed bored with it all, no effort in it. 6 'atmosphere'.. glad to get out .
Accommodated a late arrival Polite reception Clean beds Tea and coffee in room
En suite macerator noisy every time WC was used Unable to accommodate a slice of toast before 0815
Friendly welcome , excellent , spotlessly clean room and fantastic service .
hospitality was superb.
Just a great place for a one nighter
the karema is near to the front and all the amenities. it is very clean and comfortable and we were served a delicious breakfast. craig and pina are very welcoming.
Room very modern and clean, lovely friendly people and great breakfast.
Absolutely fabulous stay again, will definitely recommend this hotel
the location is next to the seaside. Comfortable room and very quiet even though off the main road.
Piña and Craig were excellent hosts. Nothing was too much trouble they even rang a local restaurant to see if there was a table free for dinner as we arrived quite late in the evening. The bed was wonderfully comfortable and both room and bathroom were very clean. Breakfast was very good, no grease at all on the full English, unlike some places we've stayed and enough to keep us going until tea time.
Nothing. Other comments have said the bathrooms are small but what did they want to do in there, have a party!! Perfectly adequate for showering and other ablutions. It's a converted house not a purpose built hotel.
The hotel is excellent and very clean and nothing is too much trouble. The hosts Pina and Craig are very friendly and accommodating.
Super clean and very friendly.
bathroom safety--put a non slip mat in shower--change heavy glass tumbler for a plastic one, if it drops into the basin there would be damage. Regards, F&P Heath.
The breakfast was lovely. Lovely welcome. Superb location
Unable to access wi-fi from our room. Bathroom was very small, wasn't an issue for us but could be for some people.
Arrived in Skegness with my son only to find our pre-booked accomodation was not to our liking. Thanks to the Karema this turned out to NOT be a complete disaster :-). Very last minute booking as we arrived minutes after we booked. This was no problem. We were made to feel welcome. Room functional. Brilliant wifi (son was happy). Lovely breakfast. Able to park outside. Proprietors are really friendly :-).
Prior to our visit I received a text from owners to confirm our stay also to inform us that the room would be available earlier than stated. Room was clean and adequate for our stay. Lovely breakfast & catered to our needs. Free wi-fi during our stay which I had no problem with connection
We are both slim but found the en- suite in our room very narrow with little space to turn. Breakfast was served 8.15-9.00 a little early for us.
Friendly owners Good food
Very friendly and welcoming owners .. Very clean and great quality food at breakfast
Had a small room ... If booked again would request a larger room
Rooms were tiny, not enough space to store luggage. With plug points on the ground and kettle within reach of a toddler, this was a hazardous and accident prone place for tots. Rooms very unclean, cobwebs hanging and film of dust. Rooms cold with room heater not working. Walls are thin, no sound proof. My 1 yr old baby became unwell and distressed in the cold tiny room, so he started to cry, while we patiently tried to soothe him to sleep for 3 hrs. Instead of offering any help, our landlord, Craig, complained about my poor baby. When I asked him what else can we do, (hoping he would have some suggestions like offering us to use the lounge which had a big TV to distract) he simply shrugged his shoulders coldly saying its not him but other guests complaining, so keep babys voice down! Seeing such unkind attitude, we left first thing next morning without having breakfast. They didnt care to ask us if we would like to eat anything or if baby was ok now. The worst and most unhospitable BnB we have stayed
Ensuit which was great for a single room . Breakfast was great, which the owners cooked and served. Lovely lounge area and dinning room.
Parking limited there is free on street parking .
Great place to stay very friendly couple will b recommending to others
On arrival we were greeted by Pina who explained everything to us and told us where our room was. The room was very nice and clean. Both mornings after an excellent nights sleep we went for breakfast served by Craig, the breakfasts were delicious and the kitchen door was open and it was absolutely spotless. We have stayed in a lot of hotels and guest houses in Skegness and we found this has been the best by far. We will be booking into the Karema again. Thank you Pina and Craig.
Could not get Wi-Fi in our room but to be honest that was no big deal.
