The room was nice ,clean, modern and large.

Dirty cutlery. Room not serviced after first of two nights stay. Had to check in over bar counter. Need to decide if bar or hotel. Double bed (made up of 2 twin beds) against the wall - would have been better to leave as twin beds. All electric sockets unplugged so had to move furniture to plug in the hair dryer. Vacuum cleaner outside the room on arrival at 5pm.

Lovely bathroom and very comfortable bed. Room was well decorated and modern, staff welcoming too.

Nothing, no complaints.

Room to small for 4 person. Not suitable for traveller with small kids

Location was fine

The room sloped! Both ways. The bathroom door opened by itself and the head of the bed was lower than the foot!

A lovely modern hotel with friendly staff. Great free cooked breakfast too! Was a great spot if you want to go out.

First impression was poor. Looks like a down market pub externally and the bar is the reception which is gloomy during the day. Average breakfast but served very quickly.

Unfortunately there were a lot of steps up to the rooms, not so good if you are elderly.No heating in the bathroom and very weak water pressure in the shower.

The bed was warm and comfortable. The staff at breakfast were very pleasant and attentive.

4* it was NOT - 1* would be generous. No chairs,wardrobes nor hangers in the bedroom. The only place to sit was in a VERY draughty sitting area near the front door which was wedged open and the swinging doors kept opening - the temp. was MINUS 2 degrees outside and blowing a blizzard! There are 3* hotels in the area which are far superior. One wonders what the star rating stands for - certainly not a reliable guide. This place caters for students . Fawlty Towers - yes. To be avoided.

Walkable to town centre

Didn't seem to really push any evening meals but eating places nearby and inhouse breakfast is good.

I was greeted by a very friendly chap who was also very knowledgeable about the area, transport etc... the place has lovely cosy feel about it, the rooms were clean and comfortable made all the better by the fact they looked like they had been recently decorated, the shower was piping hot and very clean, the rooms were warm and the bed excellent ( I nearly slept in for breakfast ) which was very nice with freshly cooked Eggs not from under a heatlamp ! At these prices this is a little Gem .

The breakfast in the morning was good! The bathroom was nice. The staff were friendly enough and the rooms wer tidy.

The damp in the room was not pleasant! As a group staying in a room the lighting was very poor to get ready to go on a night out! When we arrived the room was very cold. There was nobody at reception when we arrived either another member of our party arrived slightly later and she said the same.

Very friendly, efficient, was close to the Hospital where I was visiting my son. Room was clean, modern, warm and the bed was very comfortable

We had a good breakfast and the staff serving us were very pleasant. The location was close to where we wanted to be.

Our room was very cold on arrival and as there was a lot of snow on the ground this meant we had difficulty warming up. There was no heat at all in the en-suite shower room. We have caught heavy colds as a result. Parking at rear was tight.

Staff were lovely and very helpful. Ideal location, right on the main street in jesmond, with its restuarants, cafes, bars and shops. Car Park at the back of the hotel.

Hotel is in the middle of renovations.

The full English breakfast was delicious! Location was about a 6-7 pound taxi ride to the city center

Our windows clattered and shook during the night with the wind, otherwise no noise from the street.

The staff were very nice, helpful with everything. The location was good; £5 taxi to city Center. Very nice food, well priced drinks, nice sized rooms with a breakfast included, bonus!
