We had a minor upset with the shower which on our final day had no hot water, otherwise our stay was perfect and our hosts, wonderful. Would highly recommend. Booking.com was misleading in listing this as a hotel; it is not, and therefore do not expect bar facilities (bring your own!) or 24h reception.
We had a superior double for 2 nights over New Year 2015. The room itself was beautifully presented, with a large double bed taking centreplace, and furnished with two well-upholstered armchairs and side table for relaxing with a cup of tea on returning from the museums and attractions of Bath. The location could not be better, being less than 3 minutes walk to Putteney Bridge and set on a gracious row of Georgian period properties. The service makes your stay, and the breakfasts will cater for anyone, using only local produce and quality ingredients. We were very impressed and well worth getting up for!
