room wasn't cleaned for 3days
The downstairs pub was excellent for a laugh had cheap drinks and karaoke and was family friendly however they put me on the first floor and this went on till 2 in the morning so my children didn't get much sleep. Brilliant location very laid back and bar man was lovely. Brilliant if you want to stay with the girls or friends before a night out however it wasn't horrific I would maybe stay at a push again
The reception staff wasn't very accommodating when I told them about not having a good nights sleep. The breakfast was awful defo don't pay for that. Plus I asked for hot chocolate sachets they didn't have them asked for more milk for my youngest son they give you like two tiny cartoons. Beds un comfy
Hotel old and need up dating public areas very old and smelly
Bed Extremely comfortable if a little on the small side, which we were forewarned about. We wer in a family room on end of a corridor, which was great away from any noise. Also very clean. Nice touch lux soap!
Steamed up windows. Furniture was a little dated, but functional and spotlessley clean.
The hotel is located in between the south and central piers. Lovely Indian/Chinese restaurant onsite. Pool table (£1) Friendly staff. Breakfast was excellent with a variety of cereals, toast and full English.
The beds were uncomfortable and the room was small.
Room was disgusting dangerous and overpriced photos was not as the website
This is obviously a family run business with a lovely family friendly atmosphere . The guys went above and beyond to accomodate our family and we will certainly be booking all our future blackpool trips in this hotel ...thanks for a lovely stay :-D
Bar facilities and comunal lounge
Rooms small and not good value for money
Really nice friendly welcome, very hard working staff at breakfast, perfect location, room was really nice and had everything we needed. Mentioned to the reception that our room felt a little cold and we were given a heater which was absolutely great. Entertainment put on during our stay which gave us something to do on cold nights after the lights. Parking no problem at all. Overall a lovely stay, thank you to the staff at Kensington Hotel.,
We got a decent nights sleep due to the fact that we were in the top of the hotel!!
It was overheated constantly, didn't seem to have a thermostat. There were some sort of (drink?) stains running down the window. There was no side lamp in the room. The lift stopped at the second floor, our room was a further 2 flights up. The sun terrace was damp and rotting.
Location was excellent and for price we paid it was gook value. Rooms were dated but very clean. If you want 5 star then book that but this is a cheap hotel and the facilities reflected that.
Smells from cooking as you walked through the hotel. Needs a bit of TLC which could be achieved with a luck of paint.
Very friendly and efficient staff. Rooms very clean.good value, Great breakfast
Shower in our bathroom needed repair. Hotel needs general modernisation but we would definitely use again.
Location was good
Beds not very comfortable, could feel the springs, didn't sleep well
The hotel was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was lovely if rather a bit quick from ordering. Had a lovely stay will be using the hotel againxxxx
Breakfast was too quick from ordering apart from that everything was good.
The location is good with a good view
The hotel needs a good paint job and needs a good maitence man
The daughter had a lovely view of the sea.
The missus & I had a view of back alleys with folk urinating, (both sexes), the smell & noise of bins, a very annoying drunk in the bar. I had to park on a very expensive car park approx 3/4 mile
the staff were very helpful and pleasent.the room was clean
their was disco music on till the wee small hours comeing from the basement.to be fair you couldn't really hear what they were playing..just a constant pulsating bump bump bump
The smell as soon as you enterd booked for two nights left after one didn't even go for breakfast looked great on Internet ! Really disappointed !
The room we stayed in was 8 out of 10
The Hotel we stayed in was 4 out of 10
The good was really nice.
The rooms were dirty and holes in walls. Curtains ripped and very thin. Bathro was not very clean mouldy and tiles falling off and some missing. Staff not very helpfull at all.
The breakfast was expensive and not to good.
The Kensington was a warm and friendly hotel the staff were very polite and helpful to all our needs food was excellent and we enjoyed our stay location was central to all the main attractions
Bed, small and uncomfortable for two people.
friendly run hotel in a good location
the fact that breakfast was not included for what I paid. In comparison to others there they paid less and breakfast was included, very disappointed by this
