Staff very helpful
Noise from aircon outside room A real shame as the hotel is very good
Hand written card and the turn down service
There was no bath in the room & no hand held shower.
I loved everything about the hotel. Beautiful gracious drawing rooms. Very comfortable room & delicious breakfast
Excellent from all points of view. Nice setting, goof breakfast and comfortable room. The staff is extremely helpful and nice. The location is superb with the subway and plenty of simple but pleasant restaurants nearby
The bath-room is well-equipped but small and the TV programs offer a limited choice ( mainly news networks)
The front of the house staff were good. Very polite and friendly
For a superior room it was very small (probably smallest I've seen) and not what I expected for £200 a night. But it's an old building that they had modified but forgot about space. We could hear every time someone went up and down corridor even with the TV on.
Very small room on 5th floor.
Parking; complicated & expensive.
Hotel was charming, bedroom excellent, the staff were first class, nothing too much trouble so very pleasant and helpful.
Location. Quality staff. Excellent attentiveness from bulk of staff. Room small but comfortable.
Very poor service by female bar manager. Verged on rude. Very dismissive.
The location is excellent. The staff are outstanding with their desire and ability to satisfy your every need.
I think that the photos of the rooms on the web site are misleading as compared to a number of the actual rooms.
The staff were friendly and helpful specially the concierge was amazing. The location is great. The bed is very comfortable. We were upgraded the first time and that was amazing. The room was very big but we can hear the foot of the people who are staying in the floor above us.
Cleaning could be better. There must be better cleaning facilities. Also, the room was very small the second time we stayed in.
Very friendly staff, quiet rooms, comfortable bathroom with rain shower, cozy atmosphere to stay, will love to stay there again.
Comfortable. Good breakfast in the lounge
Our restaurant reservation was cancelled the week before
The building and the facilities are good. The living room at the lobby is very cozy. The neighborhood is lovely. The hotel is close to the underground.
Although we stayed in the Superior Room, I found the room small. (The bathroom was is a good size.)
Comfort, style, services
Noisy air conditioning system outlet in my bedroom
Very kind staff, minutes from Kensington tube station, very elegant, nice breakfast. I'll be back!
There were no bananas at breackfast
quality of welcome good cocktail at the bar
sorry about the noise of the waiter on the parquet... not very quiet in the "quiet area".
I had booked three superior rooms for business trip. But when we arrived at the hotel, they told us that they could not see any reservation on their system although we had paid via credit card to guarantee the rooms. Then they told us that there was a misunderstanding and they rearranged the rooms again. We waited at the reception until they solved the problem. We were so tired after a long journey but unfortunately we had to wait at the reception for a while and accordingly we were so stressed.
the value for money and the proximity to museums and the Royal Alberta Concert Hall
The location was a little out of the way on the metro line from major tourist destinations. The room had stairs to the bathroom and was crowded and not as clean as we would have liked
We stayed at the Kensington hotel for three nights to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The staff is very friendly, professional and helpful and the hotel is beautiful. Breakfast is also very good.
Our room on the fifth floor was very tiny (524). We had hoped the room was bigger and more comfortable.
Excellent staff, really helpful when I wanted to upgrade the room due to the first one being so cramped. Nice dining and bar area.
First room booked was too small and very little room between the foot of the bed and the desk behind it.
The room was very nice, the staff was nice
Bed very comfortable
Room a little smaller than we are used to
