Absolute great location, great staff, lovely ambience
The high standard if the hotel and rooms thereselves.
I loved sitting in a comfy armchair by the fire and reading while it rained outside. Eating breakfast surrounded by an inviting library was also sheer delight.
Nothing to dislike.
stylish room big windows nice fabrics excellent lounges and bar
the air-con kept turning itself off during the night the duvet is a little too warm for a hotel room
We booked our room with booking.com 6 months in advance. Rate was great as I would expect when Making a reservation so far in advance. When we arrived tired after an international flight we were shocked with the selection of room. Without a doubt the worst room in the hotel. The room was a handicap room with no bath and tiny awkward bathroom for 3 people. Location of the room was overlooking roof tops and a pigeon poop wall. Very unpleasant. We upgraded our room at a substantial cost as room was awful. I don't know who to fAult booking. Com or the hotel. Honestly I doubt I would take a chance reserving with booking.com
The hotel is elegant, clean and beautiful. Location superb. Completely worth the price - apples and chocolates great extras. Lobby at night was cozy
Skip over the expensive breakfast and go round the corner for coffee and croissants. Each room is different so take a peek before you agree to the room assigned....
Everything in this Hotel was awesome. We enjoyed our staying there.People work there were so kind I like the way they trying to help me they are very helpfull I really do appreicate them. Everything in this Hotel is great. For sure im going to come back again.
Nothing at all
The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. 1st class customer service. We went for a meal in the evening and when we returned the curtains had been drawn, the toiletries replenished, fresh towels were in the room, music was playing, the bed had been turned down, along with chocolates on the pillow was a weather report for the following day. As I said 1st class service.
The room was a little on the small side and upon booking I did request a bath, which the room did not have.
The staff starting from resptionest, cleaners and waiters are very kind and polite I came for second time for this reason and because of the hotel is very clean
It's a bit noisy especially in the early of morning,,, I can hear other rooms doors while opening and closing. Maybe they can do something about it .
location cleanliness friendly staff
Location, staff friendliness and the beautiful hotel.
Absolutely nothing. It was fabulous.
The rooms are a bit small
Very helpful staff. Comfortable and quiet room. Good location for eating out and travelling around London.
Room was a little on the small side.
Excellent, friendly staff differentiates this hotel from many others in London. Very nice public areas, breakfast room and lovely breakfast. Great quiet location close to V+A, natural history museum, Royal Albert hall and Kensington gardens.
Bedroom and ensuite on the small side ( not untypical of London hotels) poor view from window of the AC unit and this was a superior room apparently. On return would ask for a better room, and we will return.
I booked this Hotel for my daughter who was very ill. All Hotel staff took care of her every need with exemplary hospitality. They were gracious and extremely kind.
What a fantastic hotel. I'd booked the Kensington for me and my girlfriend based on previous reviews given and I must say, it was just what we wanted. Very clean, the staff were very helpful and so in. The hotel is in a brilliant location with South Kensington tube station about a 5 minute walk away. All in all an amazing experience and would love to stay again.
Only con was maybe the room size. It was big enough but would have liked a little more room, however we only stayed in a superior room. There are other options but at a higher cost.
loved the bar/restaurant area, loved theneighborhood and the proximity to the tube stations.
room was very tiny
Staff was wonderful. Very comfortable room. Location was very convenient.
The waste paper basket in the bathroom was in a bad spot and you couldn't open the door properly.
The Kensington Hotel is excellent located. Rooms are clean and nice furnished, the whole ambience of the hotel top. I really would always recommend this hotel for short or longer stays in London!!
Excellent location with lots of potential
Small room no bath tub, asked for a change taken to another room agreed change and then told someone had the room. Aircon not working, basin unable to empty, broken. poor cleanliness especially in shower room, behind door!! Very noisy room, people in next room not overly loud but could be heard clearly. Explained issues to staff who agreed this was not acceptable and to their normal standards, lip service only.
Bathroom ridiculously small.
Very small room. Restaurant undergoing renovation.
The bathroom mirror (doesn't steam up) and the lobby & restaurant area's are beautiful.
