breakfast is NOT a full English as is claimed
Brilliant they let the dog stay Lovely pool Excellent location
Bed was very uncomfortable unfortunately
It was very noisy as the doors slammed and when coach parties leave early in the morning that's over 50 door slams before 8 am!!! Also room above was very noisy with small kids and you could hear conversations from other rooms
Great facilities -loved the pool -had it all to ourselves before breakfast. Kids loved the hot tub and fitness suite too! Room well laid out. Very quiet.Lovely comfortable cot for the baby. Kids liked the bunk beds but a bit squeaky. Staff really friendly. Excellent value for money with breakfast!!
Shower curtain in swimming pool area was rather smelly and mouldy but everything else was fantastic.
My family & I were made very welcome by all the staff the food was great and the view from our room was fantastic would go back in a heartbeat
Breakfast. Bathroom. Size of room.
Pillows not very good. Bed hard. Two doubles rather than one double and three singles as per booking. Poor wifi. View was pretty poor.
indoor heated pool & spa
Poorly staffed reception
Location. Very close to the most perfect little cove. And walking distance to a nice little seaside town that doesn't really feel like a seaside town. And the hotel was very quiet at night.
The bed was the cheapest most uncomfortable mattress that I have ever not slept on. And breakfast was distinctly average.
Very friendly young girl called Anna who was very helpful and sweet. The in house pooch called Loki who was mental! Very nice housekeeping girls too
The older woman at the front desk was very morbid and serious and needs to be a bit more cheerful if she is the first person you greet when you enter.
Rooms were very clean. Breakfast was very good and staff very attentive . Location very good.
Only one pillow on the bed and very lumpy. Reception staff could have been more attentive.
The hotel is situated just 5 minutes from the town, which was ideal with a 10 and 13 year old, close enough to walk in and far enough away from busy pubs. The hotel is 5 mins to the beach, I could sit in the hotel and watch boys play on the field opposite. My boys loved both indoor and outdoor pools and the pool table.
Parking is available outside the hotel and the staff were pleasant.
There is no sound proofing and the doors don't have soft close so you constantly hear people coming and going from other rooms. Also you can hear other guests clearly talking when in your room. We had a sleepless night due to a group of lads on a stag do being located either side of us. It ruined our stay and I would not recocomend staying here.
Small bed only one pillow
The facilities, we slept well so bed good, rooms were very clean. Friendly and hospitable staff.
Maybe update tired rooms - bathrooms, electricals. Evening dinner service could improve maybe due to staffing levels. Treat all customers the same.
Good breakfast well served.
The building noise from Hotel next door. Mechanical digger started work at 8:00 am every morning except Sunday.
Lovely room , spacious clean bathroom, younger staff friendly and helpful, comfortable lobby to relax in, parking (big plus), adequate restaurant
Older staff - poor attitude, abrupt, unwelcoming and unaccommodating, made us feel to be an inconvenience for inviting family members to join us for breakfast. Original mattress in room was solid (this was quickly addressed and changed)
location friendly receptionist Parking available
No shower gel provided carpet in bathroom, tiles would be better Breakfast was too expensive and should have been half price for children. Shouldn't have to pay extra for use of the sauna. Overpriced for what was on offer. We paid £114 per night for a family roojm.
The staff were all great and very helpful. Rooms cleaned and hovered everyday. Good location and just 10 minutes from a beach. Good breakfast and if you go down after 8am it is really quiet. Indoor swimming pool is great and usually really quiet.
We were in room 117 which is a triple room and it was a great size but the roof vents for the kitchen were directly outside the window. In the morning and evening the smell was quite overpowering and the noise woke us up about 6.45. The only other issue was the 14 inch portable TV...I realise that we aren't going to spend all day watching TV but in the evening we were trying to watch the Commonwealth Games and trying to work out who was running etc was impossible on such a small screen...would have expected more from a 3 star hotel. Apart from these issues we really enjoyed our stay and would come back...just not in that room!
All staff bar 1woman were excellent. Older woman quite abrupt considering we were guests of the hotel
Quite noisy could hear people walking in room above and everyone in the hallway. Light showed through into the room from around the door.
All !!!!!!! Fantastic Staff , chef make nice food
Indoor pool was great but only working for one day of our stay, over filled with chlorine.
All mattresses worn and springs pushing through. Last up dated in the 80's Service at breakfast really poor with a rude and useless staff member serving us. Ran out of food half way though breakfast, just toast left. Cutlery all dirty with old food left on it. Spend your money elsewhere.
Size of cups in room too small tea and coffee poor. Selection poor for hot drinks in room also bathroom toiletries space.
Outdoor pool out of order
Location is good, good staff
The rooms are not sound proof, there is too much noise from all the sides, top floor creaking if somebody walks in the top floor.
