Situated in Newquay’s lively centre, this 3-star hotel offers an impressive cliff-top terrace and bright bedrooms. Overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, the restaurant serves fresh local seafood.

Situated in Newquay, the bustling centre of Cornwall, this small, friendly hotel occupies an excellent position from which to explore this scenic county and its lovely beaches.

Boasting a majestic location on the cliffs of Newquay looking out over the bay, this hotel is in Newquay’s centre. It has English and Mexican restaurants and an indoor pool with sea views.

Location was excellent
Tired Hotel in need of Modernisation. Staff were there but not overly helpful. Massed produced breakfast. Noisy road + Coaches parked out front, started up engines early
I had a stiff neck for a week, I requested additional pillows in the morning but the elderly lady behind reception said she would see to it never did. Shower did not work offered us another room to shower in. A party of Germans are still waiting to get served at the bar I suspect.
staff very friendly, room and breakfast very good
cleaner didn't replenish tea, coffee and toiletries until told then no problem
Almost everything! Nothing was too much trouble for the young lady and her fiance at the reception desk. I booked a single room, but when going down to the reception I was asked if I would like a double room instead, at no extra cost, as they had just had a cancellation. I was quite overwhelmed and accepted with thanks. I then, on taking the double room came across a light bulb which did not work, and the bulb and the shade came off in my hand as I attempted to adjust it. Within a very short time it had been repaired and the light restored. The bed was one of the comfiist I have ever slept on. The Dinner and breakfast were excellent value, Overall a very enjoyable experience. There also is an indoor pool and fitness suite. This is a family run hotel and it certainly does show... Just one thing, being in the window industry for many years, the windows in the room did need cleaning. Which when I remarked about it on the Hotel's departure form, I was made aware it would be attended to and an apology was given.
All OK no problems
Please do not send any messages by my phone or text many thanks D powell
Not over priced.
Restricted parking for large vehicle.
Friendly staff, very clean room and great food. My boys loved the pools and playing pool. Great location near the town and walking distance to Porth via a cliff road. Can't wait to go back!
We had a sea view room and it was fantastic we looked upon the beach. The bed was lovely and comfy. The room was clean. Staff were helpful and friendly.
The finish of the room we stayed in was not great as the walls were uneven and just looked like they had been painted to cover up the cracks. The bathroom was dated and the shower did not work! The water was either freezing cold or boiling hot. Had to have a bath to have bearable water. We were offered another room however this was not sea view and the shower did not work with this one. We had a refund of £10.00 and was told this issue had already been raised with the plumber earlier that week.
Rooms were clean hotel hotel was clean throughout good location 5 minute walk to town .breakfast was good. Evening meal on Friday evening. Was tasty well presented service was excellent
I stayed here with 2 colleages whilst working in Newquay for 1 night. Good comfortable rooms. My room was at the rear overlooking derelict property but perfectly adequate for my work requirements. If I was on holiday I would book a sea view room. The location was ideal for us as it was at the quieter end of town. My colleague had no hot water in his room but my room did. We ate out so cannot comment on the food. Would definitely stay again if working in the area.
Lovely breakfast in elegant dining room With excellent service. Friendly staff
Wi fi in very restricted areas
Location and Shopping
Old television that hardly worked, remote didn't work at all. Bit run down over-all.
nice and clean and friendly staff and helpful.
the bed was to small and not good for two people. no def tea or coffee in the room.
the pool was clean clean room location to town
we paid extra for a superior room.. not worth it all, we couldn't work the shower, only to be told we were the last room to receive hot water and it would cut out, so shower was either freezing cold or boiling hot. tea and coffee allowance in the room, I each and then you had to pay for more sachets!!
Excellent Sea Veiw (Room 220) Main hotel and public areas all very good the only food we had was breakfast which was also very good
Room was very small and in desperate need of a good clean and a lick of paint with new carpet. It felt old fashioned and run down and wouldnt have taken much effort to make it nice again. We arrived a little after 9.00pm but was told no food available so we had to go aout again. A sandwich in the bar would have been a good option after a long drive.
Noise of other people in hotel at night could hear them moving about all night flushing toilet ect
Nothing outstanding and overpriced, lost in a time warp.
Location good, staff friendly and food good.
Close to town tasty breakfast friendly staff cosy room good size We would come again..
