Nice welcome when we arrived and gave us a parking permit to park on the road outside, which was a real bonus. Within walking distance of the city, with plenty of pubs and restaurants enroute. Room was comfortable and breakfast good for an extra £5.
Shower had a lot of black in the corners and on the grouting, as did the bathroom window ledge. Found a couple of hairs behind the bathroom door.
Food and Drink excellent Room large and well fitted out
Fan Noise from Kitchen equipment (Room4)
staff very helpful, friendly and polite, beer and food very good and well priced, room and bed very comfortable, locals very friendly, only 5 minute walk to town, definitely visit again.
Nice welcome Clean room
The mattresses badly need replacing - so soft our backs suffered in the morning. Breakfast was not the best.
It was a great stay and excellent value for money. I love a hot power shower in the. Morning and that was what i got. my single room cost £50. Was easily as good as premier inn which these days are hard to find beneath £75. Would stay there again staff very helpful too.
Nothing i couldnt say i disliked.
Location was an easy walk along the river into the city. Parking is on street but easy with the permit provided. Quality of breakfast and service was good. Bedroom was spacious with two easy chairs and good tv. Not disturbed by downstairs pub noise.
Would have liked access to a radio as not keen on breakfast tv.
Location to Train station about 10 mins walk, lovely local pub lots of people in eating what looked like good food, we had a Good full English breakfast which set us up for the day x thanks
Nothing to complain about
Location, real ale and food.
Everything......went for a quiet /comfortable night away and thats what we got. 9.5/10 could do with music or radio playing during breakfast.....if thats all we can comment on its must have been good. Keepup the good work :-)
location is just a ten min walk from railway station and 15 mins from town centre.Although a busy pub not noisy, and apart from hearing folk leave about 11pm no noise. parking permits issued for on street parking
Rooms simple and not that large but clean
Very good location if you are attending a passing out parade at the Sir John Moore Army Barracks. The staff were friendly and helpful. Stayed 1 night so not sure about location with respect to Winchester.
Food was average for price, parking can be an issue as it is on street (that said the Pub staff provided me with a free permit).
Good location with a 10 minute walk into the centre of town. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and staff were friendly and helpful.
Hotel price for a B&B

The décor in the bedroom was a little tired
Easy walk into town, convenient permit parking outside pub.Just pop in & ask for a permit when you arrive. Friendly & helpful staff. Biggest bauble decorations I have ever seen! Full english breakfast ,good value for location . Didn't eat there in the evening or see the menu but looked busy.
A bit blokey in the evening ,darts etc but a good local pub

Food, Size of room and drawers and wardrobe.
I had a single room and was really happy with how spacious it was. It was well equipped and the bed was extremely comfortable. The rates are really reasonable and I felt I wouldn't have had better even from some of the more expensive hotels in the area. The staff were lovely and friendly and there was a nice, relaxed atmosphere. I would definitely recommend staying here and would stay again if I'm ever back in Winchester.
There wasn't anything I didn't like.
This is not the first time I have stayed and I'm sure this won't be the last. A very pleasurable comfy stay with friendly staff and a lovely breakfast each morning. Thanks a lot.
Really enjoyed my stay, really friendly and helpful staff. great breakfast!!
The only thing that slightly tainted stay was a line of wet on wall of the outside wall which made the room smell slightly damp. if this was fixed it would be a perfect stay...
We enjoyed a warm welcome. Also everything in the room worked and it was nice and friendly. Had a good value evening meal and at £5 the breakfast was a very good deal too.
