It is in dier need of refurbishment, wallpaper hanging off, window didnt close, major damp throughout, lamps with broken bulbs, broken shower head. You get what you pay for.
There wasnt much good about this place apart from the price
Staff couldn't give a toss!!!!
It was convenient to our night out
My shower was not draining and reported to staff who did nothing about it.
Nothing at all
hotel is tired, plumbing needs attention, but it was £27 for a double room ... not really looking for the ritz at that price. Plumbing needs attention, shower not working, hot tap drips and doesn't turn on or off, there was a rip in my headboard and the windows were filthy, but not nearly as bad as some of the reviews on here! I found the staff to be massivley helpful. The bouncers at the club next door (nothing to do with hotel) refused to let us into the disco though as some of us were in smart trainers, but they stipulated shoes, and they really should have pulled thier necks in a little when refusing entry as they were just looking to make trouble. Good job we are a fun loving placid lot, just a little rowdy lol.
The manager was very accomodating to a group of very overexcited younger and middle aged skateboarders who know how to party. I was a female staying in a room on my own and felt safe. There is a bar next door and you can get food there, the towels and sheets were clean and although tired and not spotless it was clean enough. Wouldnt reccomend it to someone who is used to staying in a travelodge but if you don't mind being somewhere a little rough round the edges, but where you will not get thrown out of, then its ideal. We had the best night ever, it was great! It is also in a beautiful location. 10/10 for the manager and his willingness to put up with us. Ace location for us. And for the price, I have stayed in a lot worse! Would I go back? depends on who I was going with, but probably.
Shower didn't work, leaking taps so dripping noise all night and in a weeks stay they not once gave a clean towel or made the bed? Take your own towels.
No lighting in hotel room. TV that did not work
filthy headboards, filthy bathroom, filthy carpets.
All of it, broken shower and TV with no aerial
Driving out after checout
My booking wasn't recognised The room was dirty, carpet badly stained, wallpaper peeling off, paint flaking wall appeared damp, TV did not work properly (ancient), kettle didn't work properly and seemed to leak, supposed to be twin room consisted of one double bed and a put you up sofa bed which was uncomfortable bottom end collapsed. WiFi didn't work. Bathroom; door could not be closed, extractor fan did not work, edge of floor tiling filthy, bath stained, ceiling paper peeling.
The staff were very unhelpful The whole hotel was damp smelly and very dirty exposed live wires and generally unsafe. We had a choice of six dirty rooms before getting stuck with another dirty we were refused cleaning products to clean our room.
Nothing at all the place was a discrace and should be taken off all hotel booking sites as it's unsafe.
Bath was revolting beds uncomfortable tv did not work walls were filthy
Kettle but no tea/coffee/cup/milk - good job I take my own. Only one thin pillow TV - only get BBC 1&2 then screen was rolling. Sign saying close door in bathroom and put curtain inside bath before showering - door would not close and no curtain!!! Have stayed before and didn't expect to much for price but this was the worst!!
everything about the place I have stopped before twice and I just thought it would get better , NO, Nothing has changed
The door out of the flea Ridden place my whole body was in agony from flea bites nothing to like at all the whole stank the carpets were all stained tv does not work
the staff were so rude! did nothing to help. The guy toke the money and slamed the keys down and that was it!
Everything as explained above!!!
Worst hotel I have ever been to, stayed 15 mins and walked out, slept in the car, as had travelled over 5hours, it was v.damp, mouldy, the smell was so bad I contemplated getting my scarf from the car, they now wont give me a refund, there was peeling wallpaper, tv signal awful, one staff member really miserable other not so bad, think he is used to people complaining, I'm in the midst of calling environmental health and trading standards. Do not book here! We saw 2rooms so not even based on only one room!
i had two pillows that was wafer fin.no duvet .old style tv with no freeview, smell of damp thrugh all hallways ,windows in hall way made room door rattle,
Free parking was great, plenty of spaces
Over charged on my credit card with a fabricated reason from the hotel that I had called to make xtra bookings when I had actually made all bookings online. The hotel refused to take responsibility for this.
Hotel facilities reasonable to price.
t.v hopeless----decor needs re-doing
helpful & very polite staff----size of room
bar outside closed Monday,Tuesday , and Wednesday
could be cleaner--and could have better tv and furnishings
The room was dirty, carpets would only walk on with shoes on, heaters didn't work, sheets had holes in them and the bed would have been impossible to sleep on. Apart from that there was no tv as advised. By this time we were walking out and still havn't had a refund!
Although the hotel was cheap £20 per night, I would expect it too be clean & the staff friendly! The whole place stunk of damp! There was mold on the walls window & bathroom. Aside from all of that I didn't feel safe!! An felt cleaner before I showered
The room (34) had huge damp patches on the wall through out the room, and a damp smell. As it was gone midnight, I didn't mention it until the following morning as something that I wanted them to be aware of. The man on reception just said they knew and where doing something about it, but no apology about it, and was not the same cheerful man as before. My colleague was in a room where the heating didn't work. Budget price shouldn't mean not working or being worked on.
Arrived at midnight and the man on checkout was still smiling and cheerful. Budget price
