What I liked most was the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. The other things to mention are the cleanliness of the room and the typical traditional English furniture in the room, as well as the traditional English breakfast. |

I liked the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff in particular the manager + manageress. I liked the position of it and the clenliness. It was absolutely spotless. I know there has been a lot of money spent on it lately but I think money well spent. |

Good cooked breakfast and flexible timing. Pleasant staff. The disco on Saturday night was open to everyone so the bar area was noisy and unpleasant. Guests did not have anywhere to have a drink in the hotel other than among the drunken teenagers. During our time there a fight erupted! The area where the disco was being held backed on to a patio and the carpark. There were concerns that our cars could be vandalised by youths from the disco. |

THE INN-KEEPER IS GREAT. It has a nice bar area with plenty of spaces to sit, and be removed from the crowds. Rooms are well appointed, clean, with completly new bathroom fixtures. The Walls are thin. For some reason no UK Hotel ( I stayed in) has a small face cloth in the bathroom? |

This is a small, friendly and cosy hotel-and its position on the High Street in Godalming is advantageous. |
