The breakfast was excellentand thr 4 poster bed was a ffantastic surprise having never been in one before
The building inside is a bit tired shower was not very clean hair left on the soap tray where they had cleaned the plug hole
Noise from the bar downstairs. Do not expect to sleep before midnight.
Loved the location, parking facility, friendliness of staff, good choice and nice food at breakfast
Disgusted to be honest , no record of my booking, bathroom and room in a dirty state , cobwebs, dust, mould, ceilings had flaking paint , bathroom window had no catch on so was constantly blowing open an shut letting rain in and making the room freezing cold , wardrobe doors wouldn't close, no heating in the room just an electric heater which smelt when turned on, rubbish still in the bins, tv only had certain channels and kept going off , only one light worked , cups all stained , dirt in the draws, shower worked but water spat out and was horrendously noisy , toilet was filthy..... I could go on an on ... I would never recommend this hotel to any one . I personally wish I could have found somewhere else for the night , but all hotels in the area were full, my advise to any one is DON'T book this hotel
Bed was comfy, breakfast was tasty.
The hotel was very run down. The room had mould on the cornices and the ceiling looked like it was going to fall down in the bathroom. Overall, the room needed a good hover and dust. We were told there was renovations were happening and this is very much needed.
Right in the town centre , close to many restaurants and within walking distance to Bicester Village Designer Outlet. The bathroom is huge with plenty of places to put wash bags and things.
The noisy music from the bar late into the night.
Nothing at all!
The room was filthy- except the sheets which were clean. The sash window was stuffed with a dirty grey sock and would not close. There was a large amount of paint peeling off the ceiling directly over my bed. The towel rail was on the floor having come off the wall. The breakfast was poor.
nothing the place was disgusting
everything the bedroom had damp damage on ceiling and wall old cotton buds lying in window sill inside in one drawer found durex in other drawer found broken lock part and looked like cut nails finger or toe had breakfast only once ate out afterwards only reason we stayed for period we were there could not get anywhere else recomend you take this place off your system thank you
Towels clean, bedding clean, central to town
Bath room dirty, shower head filthy, shower head broken, mould on walls, was never hoovered whole weekend we where there and before we arrived cobwebs everywhere, needs total update run down not worth £10:00 pp per night never again
The bathroom was durty black durt all in the windows just was not worth £70 the pub alarms where going of and no pne could locate the manager wont be staying there again
Arriving and being there, this place was dreadful, but I must commend Booking.com. who were very good at sorting it and getting us out without too many tears. Avoid at all costs
It's perfectly situated in the centre of town, the staff are very helpful and friendly it's good value for money.
The location was good and the breakfast was excellent. The staff were polite and very helpful.
The hotel could do with a face lift. We stayed on a Saturday and the hotel bar had very loud music until 1am and it was very rowdy outside until about 3am.
THE LOCK ON THE ROOM WAS BROKEN, THE WATER WAS COLD, THE SERVICE WAS BAD, IT WAS NOISY AND THE HOTEL ITSELF WAS WELL UNDER PAR. THE SAUCER UNDER THE MILK JUG WAS DIRTY AND NOT CHANGED ALL WEEK, I CERTAINLY WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE
The staff were helpful.
Closeness to town, shopping village and Oxford. Nice clean bedding and towels. lots of tea, milk etc. Breakfast very good, well cooked. Handy free parking.
Room quite dirty, floor not hoovered. Very noisy at night as near nightclubs and taxi rank, noise still at 3.am. No record of our booking even though we had confirmation email from Booking.com so obviously lack of communication on Booking.com's part.
The breakfast was very good. The location was very convenient for the town. Plenty of parking space but rubbish strewn around. The one member of staff was very helpful.
The room looked tired. the carpet needed cleaning it was covered in bits. The bathroom was dusty, again the floor needed to be brushed and washed. The sink toilet and shower were clean and plenty of hot water. The teaspoon on the tea and coffee tray was dirty and also the glasses were dirty. We only saw one member of staff, who was cleaning the bar floor between serving breakfast. Carpets on the stairs were worn and some areea worn away. It looked neglected and lacked attention to detail.
Great location in centre of town
Public areas generally a bit dirty and smelly although room itself was better but not great.
Lovelly room, we met family there and had a fantastic night, everybody friendly. Great rate
The first room given wasn't been prepared at all! Everything was used and unchanged. Then we were arranged into another room which was also uncleaned!Had to change sheets by ourselves and no toilet paper or towel!
Were not offered any tea or coffee with breakfast. The rooms were dirty and cold. No thank you when we went. would not stay again.
Stayed in a room with a four poster bed and corner bath which was nice. Everything worked OK and the heating was on. A comfortable night.
The breakfast was fantastic and freshly cooked quality ingredients to order and great choice.
Staff were very laid back and service was therefore poor. The facilities in the room were dated but had the service been better and the welcome been friendlier this would have been forgiven. Been chased out of the bar at closing even though hotel residents was just an example.
to noisey early hours of the morning
The location and breakfast are very good. The room is spacious.
The cups really need to be cleaned carefully!
Bed was very comfortable Breakfast was nice
Ignored at reception on arrival, had to find an ATM at midnight in order to pay up front in cash, room wasn't cleaned and beds weren't made for our second night's stay.
