“ Marvellous. Played golf at Magnolia Park. Came to the Kings Arms, had a few pints after the game with friends. Went out in Bicester, came back had a great sleep and shower in the morning. Breakfast was made for us early because we needed to get back to our families. £140 for two twin rooms with breakfast fair cop no robbery. Would stay again........ ”

The breakfast was well cooked and tasted delicious. The room had a good sized desk to work at. The bathroom had nice toiletries. The whole place needs a good lick of paint and some putty in the windows. The welcome on checking in was professional but the waiter at breakfast was a bit brusque. I thought the price of £70 was far too high for the standard of the accommodation (E.G. handle doors missing on wardrobe, no towel rail - although brackets on the wall for one, etc).

Not much Although I'd asked for few stairs we were put up on the 2nd floor. when the hotel was not full and younger people who could manage the stairs were on the first floor. Cold - I had to ask for heating to be turned on and I even wore my coat 1 night in the bar. The barman did not smile once and was not very helpful when I asked for my drink to be put in a clean glass.

After being told breakfast was 7-30 to 9-30 we went down for breakfast at 9.05 only to be told that breakfast was 7 till 9. I then explained that we will then get some refund as we were not going to have breakfast. The girl behind the bar was more interested in worrying about the new guy and how he got the times wrong then us and our refund or breakfast. After 10 mins or so we were told that we could have breakfast, I have to say it was awful!!!! Rushed, cold and it was clear it was leftovers and they just wanted us out rather than give us a refund AWFUL STAY!!!

The room was fine and the parking good for a town centre. There was a Karaoke evening 9-12 on the evening I stayed on a Thursday. Not good for a business traveller - can you make it Fridays?! I found the bar dingy and dark - and there was no food after 7.45 pm so I had to go out. Not very good for solo business travellers.

Landlady, Sue, lovely and friendly. Excellent bar. Disco entertainment on Fri nights, we stayed Saturday. Full English breakfast was first class. Intend staying again when next up from Kent. Parking for patdons is great. Bed covers on double bed need to be larger and slightly heavier. As a restless sleeper I kept losing the bed covers, much to my wife's annoyance.

Ideal walking distance to weeding venue It can be a bit roudy in the street to resonably late, but this is to be expected in the centre or town with what appeared to be a popular pub.

Nice and central with on site parking. Breakfast was good. The whole hotel was grubby and the heating was not on in the mornings, including in the restaurant which was freezing. There is a disco on Saturday nights, which could have been advised on the website, to take into account whilst planning the stay.

Good location. Very helpful staff - couldn't do enough when we turned up with a booking.com reservation that they had not been informed of. Decent value. City centre location. A bit tired. Mess up with booking.com reservation - hotel hadn't been informed.

The room was clean and tidy, Staff more concerned with locals in the bar than hotel guests. They only have one double room which is on the 3rd floor up very steep stairs, No working heating in the bedroom or the breakfast room. No booking.com conformation, Had to go and search for staff in the morning to order breakfast.

The location The room (No. 1)had evidence of black mould caused by damp (the results of a previous leak). The evening meal offered a poor selection. Generally the hotel was 'tired'.
