Friendly helpful staff. Very comfortable bed. Lovely bar area - very tasteful, nice clientele , food not bad (steak overlooked). We were given a small flask of French milk for our rooms on arrival - this is a very nice touch indeed. I would without a doubt stop at the Kings Arms again & recommend it to friends. it really is lovely.

Easy access to the hare & hounds for a wedding when fully booked Breakfast was greasy, saw kitchen staff smoking outside when we had just finished our breakfast. Really nice to see, when walking back to room.

Excellent breakfasts and good quality food in the evening. We stayed in a very neat cottage at the rear of the pub, which meant we had no problems with traffic noise. Mine host and some of the staff wer very friendly and welcoming. The pub has 3 seperate dining areas ranging from the Restaurant (waiter service), through to "pub grub", depending on your mood. Some of the younger staff seemed a little "disengaged" at times!

Location, friendly welcome; good breakfasts, good food in the evening It wasn't really the staff's fault, but we found the bar a bit quiet and lacking in atmosphere which was surprising as it was a weekend.

Good location, liked that the accomodation was in a different building to the inn. Good place for weekend break, nice breakfast. Would stay again. Upon arrival the younger members of the team didnt know what they were doing and when asked simple questions - didn't have the answers which didn't give a good first impression.

We spent a wonderful couple of days in the Cotswolds and used the inn as a base to visit Bath. The place was very cosy and we felt well catered for when we spent a boozy afternoon propping up the bar drinking the local beers. Our double room was spacious and comfortable with a good matress and even had a dressing room. The bathroom was clean and there were plenty of clean towels and cleaning products. The dinner menu was wide ranging with a selection of specials. The fish and chips had a great local beer batter. All in all a comfortable visit. We were a bit surprised when there was no water pressure to have a shower one morning- apparently a regular occurrence. Our host thought it was due to the number of Royals thereabouts! The shower could do with a new screen.

We were given a warm welcome by the staff. The breakfast was excellent, and consisted of locally sourced food. - The room was a bit grubby (cobwebs). - The room that we stayed in had night storage heaters and electric heaters, and it was cold on arrival!

The proprietor had only taken over the Inn 4 weeks previous. He was very friendly and helpful. We had the steak meal special on a Monday evening and it was the best steak I had tasted for some time. They were fully booked
