Lovely people, really friendly and kind. Lovely atmosphere in the pub.

Plumbing is noisy and washing up of dishes, after midnight, was just below our room which made it hard to get to sleep.

Comfortable room, nice décor Very kind & friendly landlady Good breakfast options Great price

Very little sleep due to noise from pub downstairs - even after closing tie people were outside talking quite loudly for a considerable time. The location meant sound carried but room was over the beer garden so no chance of an early night after travelling for over three hours. People talking outside until the early hours meant a very late night! This was the biggest let down and would put me off staying again despite all the cons.

Lovely clean room, friendly and helpful staff and a good breakfast.

Bed was a little uncomfortable and it was a shame that it is a shared toilet rather than in the en-suite.

Staff, Food. (the choice & quality of food was fantastic & locals Ales.

Small electric shower. Noise from pub, Road & beer (smoking) area if you have a early start. (Take ear plugs and not a problem).

The inn have two (2) rooms above the pub. We were the only guests and got all the attention. Already in the evening our cups and plates for breakfast were made on a biljard table in the pub. Very familiar athmosphere. Very friendly owners. Very nice for a stop over if your passing by!

The night we stayed they had a quiz (1st Sunday in the month) Derek, mine host, provided a terrific evening. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Room was bright and comfy and both Derek and Jill could not do enough to make us feel at home.

The food was excellent. The beer was excellent. The locals were friendly. We would stay again, but in a different room.

Our bedroom had no toilet, we had to use the toilet in the hall.

this was a typical Inn style accommodation. The beer was good, the breakfast was good and the bar menu relatively extensive, basic but well cooked. Bar well populated at evenings. The room was OK and everything worked.

The place was a little rough around the edges (decorations etc) and the shower a little small.

Lovely surroundings, nice room, great breakfast, and also delicious local beer in the pub. Just great value for the money.

To get there you have to rent a car with a steering wheel on the right side :)

A typical village pub with an olde world ambience. Surprisingly used quite a lot by the locals, with something happening in the pub every night it seemed. eg quiz nights, ladies darts night, etc. the room was spacious for a small establishment and clean. The food available was varied and good. Even the locals eat there, so can't be bad.

The pub didn't open till 6 to check in. Don't park in the first 3 spaces on the left of the car park, they're the landlords. As he's quick to point out!!
