Very large room, comfy bed with high quality linen.
The staff err friendly. Breakfast was fabulous, lots of choice and very tasty .
£150 is a lot for this room with not even a bath equipped with shampoo soap etc. A bit dated for the price.
Excellent breakfast. In the middle of the town Westerham. Many little shops and restaurants.Free parking. Excellent Bar.Good restaurant.Fair prices.
To sleep ad the Front side of the Hotel. Good rooms but very noisy.Traffic noise. No fresh air.You have to close every window.
Nice hotel, the staff (young lady) who checked me in was wonderful.
The hotel room needed a good clean and the fold out bed my son slept on was horrible. Luckly he is only little, his size prevented him from having to sleep with his legs above his head. The pub over the road was very noisey, but noise did not carry to badly into our room. For the price, expected better, however it may just be the location.
Felt room was poor quality, uncomfortable bed, shower door hanging off, when taking a towel off the rail it came off the wall, just very shoddy finish to the room. Also room very hot, stuffy and noisy!
Everything about it. Good evening meal and wonderful breakfast. Staff are excellent and a pleasure to meet.
Superbly comfortable bed
pity the shower didn't work well and had a broken part
Brocken window & tap in the bathroom
Everything about this hotel was top class, the staff were fantastic and the location was perfect for us, great prices with some fantastic rooms to offer guest, a busy hotel which is a great sign that they are popular within the town of westerham. Also breakfast was brilliant. No fault at all we have actually booked to stay again.
bedroom, bar area and restaurant. on the high street with parking.
the first night of our stay was a cold one and the heating was not on in the bar.
The town is delightful and close to Chartwell which was our primary reason for choosing the area. The hotel which is 300 or so years old is well maintained and our spacious room was charming. The on-site pub and restaurant were a bonus.
The large bathroom lacked counter space (we used the ironing board to keep our toiletries). The lack of an elevator was not a concern for us but may be for others.
Lovely stylish pub. Superb breakfast and very comfy bed. Great atmosphere.
Lighting in bedroom bit low and no main light so really quite dark getting ready.
Bed comfy. Breakfast very good. Staff very helpful and approachable. Decor
Slight smell of damp in the room.
Shortage of loo roll rectified immediately. Requested jug of real milk for the room supplied without quibble. Having opted for the latest breakfast time, we were not 'hustled' through it. Great bedroom.
Bathroom . . . although lovely and spacious was a little stark. Towell rail coming off the wall. Shower door off on one side. Sjower leaked into main room.
Excellent location comfortable twin room
Lovely and warm in the room and hall areas. Quiet room at the rear. Helpful staff.
Needed a more comfy bar seating area as there are also residents in the bar wanting to stay and relax rather than eat and go. Breakfast is served the conservatory, this is the coldest part of the hotel and the roof leaks.
Great food (and ale) in the bar; a good menu that was very reasonably priced. A large bedroom (No.2) with ample space to move around in, incorporating a separate bathroom/toilet within the suite. Ideal for an overnight stop with an exclusive (free) car park and a good breakfast. Good value at the end of a long day.
Take an alarm clock ~ the wake up call didn't materialise!
Great location right on the high street of Westerham with its lovely walks on its doorstep and lots of nice little restaurants, pubs and tearooms. The hotel itself is alright, our room was nice enough but it won't be long before it'll need some money spent on it as it's starting to look rather tired.
Location. Room cost after my discount for sleepless night .
The motor fan running for 20 mins then stopping for 10 mins then running for 20 mins all night. Not a very good nights sleep.
The not so clean bathroom
The hotel is in a great town. Very pretty and lots of lovely little shops. It was decorated beauifully throughout and a good standard.
The staff were not that helpful and they didnt communicate with each other
Great stay everything exselent
Comfortable twin room and lovely bathroom.
I had asked for quiet room as I had my 9 year old daughter with me. We were put in a lovely room but directly above the bar where drunk workmen were having a sing song until midnight.
special deal we got the room for £50, room was ok
the person at reception had a filthy shirt on, at breakfast there were crumbs and bits all over from the christening the day before then very loud talking in the kitchen , then no ham for the eggs benedict, then a very loud cleaner singing and hoovering where we were trying to eat our breakfast.
