Nice shower, clean comfortable bed.
Very small room. Ok breakfast, but more frequent coffee refills needed. We were fine on the top floor but a friend had a room over the bar and got little sleep because of the noise.
Nice rooms and linens good quality
The bathroom smelt and was not clean enough. The breakfast service was haphazard and no attention to detail.
Size of Room/bed, location
No double glazing, room above patio bar, no potato with cooked breakfast
Good hotel with the feel of an old inn. Great breakfast and pub garden. Great location with a village feel
Car parking is a pain.
Quiet comfortable room. Breakfasts. Cleaning staff. Breakfast staff.
Welcome. Dealing with problem of leaking toilet. Quality of bathrooms.
Breakfast was excellent
Room at front of hotel was particularly noisy on a Friday evening. Bathroom was very basic and in need of updating (not even a toilet roll holder!) Bar staff so slow we went to another establishment
Very friendly. Great breakfast, cooked to order.
3 floors.....no lift. Exhaused by the time I got to the top. Not too bad with small case for a few days....any longer stay; only if you are super-fit. Old building with character so shouldn't expect mod-cons.
friendly & helpful staff Good breakfast
bathroom was a bit poky. very small sink.
Excellent staff, very friendly and helpful
Friendliness and helpfulness of the staff
Charges to my room that were not mine
On the M25 late at night and fed up. Was considering sleeping in the car, but had a look on the web and found I was close to the Kings Arms. I was expecting a nice pub room, but it surpassed that by a long way! As it was a quiet Sunday night, and even though I got a very cheap last minute deal, the proprietor upgraded me to a bigger room and it was absolutely lovely. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and I had a very comfortable sleep, which set me up brilliantly for the next day's driving.
There was only one staff member serving the breakfasts and it was a bit slow. Since I had plenty of time, it wasn't really a problem, just a little tiresome waiting so long just for a coffee.
Size and comfort of bedroom. The location.
Lack of ventilation in bathroom. A cracked window and tap.
un clean toilet, unflushed from somebody else. (number 2) the 6 baked beans with my breakfast
The comfortable room. Breakfast and our lovely waitress.
Friendly helpful staff and very good value for money.
Well renovated, lovely dining room and garden
Would have liked a healthy option on dinner menu
Staff excellent friendly and very helpful
Great hotel, would definitely visit again.
Beautiful town, lovely old world feel
Very comfortable beds and accommodation.
Very poor food. Booked a table for 5 as my family joined us for a meal. Don't order a roast Sunday evening! It tasted like lunch time leftovers. Not in the mood to complain at the time as we attending a family funeral the next day. By the lack of people in the restaurant they don't get many locals in!
the bed was quite comfortable, and location is brilliant.
the kings arms is in bad need of an update, the rooms are very shabby, although clean they were so in need or redecoration it seemed dirty somehow, cold tap wouldnt switch off and bathroom was very old. Not worth the money we paid at all. Breakfast was very small again did not reflect on price paid. I hope this hotel updates soon as Westerham is such a lovely place.
Helpful staff, spacious clean rooms, comfortable beds, good bar food menu
Lighting in the rooms could be better if you want to work at the desk.
we spent two nights there. we had our wedding and evening with guests there nothing was to much trouble for them really friendly
Bed was comfortable
I asked in advance for a room with the least stairs to access. We were given a room on the top floor up four flights of stairs. When I asked for an alternative they said nothing was available. I rely on a stick when walking and stairs are very difficult. Not at all satisfactory. Breakfast in the morning was not good - meagre portions. My wife ordered boiled egg - on the menu it said two, she was given one. I ordered smoked salmon and scrambled eggs (two eggs on the menu) - a very skimpy portion arrived, definitely not two eggs and very poorly mixed. I asked for toast and one slice (!) arrived. Black coffee was luke warm. The bathroom was not particularly clean - dusty. Broken panel of glass in the bathroom window covered with plywood. Bedroom window would not stay open - had to be propped open with my walking stick! Bathroom window did not open at all. Bar waitress did not know what Prosecco was! What a disaster this hotel was.
Mediocre cooked breakfast Room needs freshening up.
