It was ok, the bar drinks choice was too limited for lager and beer, and not very good. Breakfast was ok, we didn't eat in for dinner as we went to a local Indian instead. The other pubs around, George & Dragon and Grasshopper, had our drinking business as the Kings Arms' beer/lager menu was limited and the products were not very good. I've had much better GK IPA in my local Red Lion. The bar closed at 10.30 which was naff!

The bed was extremly comfy although the duvet cover could have been bigger, staff were very friendly, breakfast was ok, (got my order wrong) evening meal was excellent Every 10 minutes or so throughout the night there was a very loud rumbling noise (possibly a generator) which woke me up on several occasions

Breakfast was poor, I expected my kipper to have head & tail not be a boil in the bag variety. The decor was tired and drab.

Location is excellent, with a good bar and restaurant kitchen. The room had broken thermostats - which meant the room was too hot.

Cheap. Convenient. Nice breakfast! Terrible service in bar area, gave up in the end and went to the Grasshopper! Luke warm to cold shower in the morning. Stayed in room 3 - very warm even though cold outside and heating off! Would be unbearable in summer

Car parking, staff friendly (especially breakfast waitress - very good and friendly - and James in restaurant in evening, but all very nice anyway), evening meal deal, location, price, wifi Drinks a bit on expensive side, no heating in room or bathroom for two days (other than fan heater), had to go find a loo roll as no spare provided one day. Possibly because of connecting door, we found it a bit noisy when we had loud people next door a couple of nights. Bedrooms need more lighting, in our view - we find them on the dark side.

As a regular visitor to London and envirions I have to say that my stay at King's Arms Hotel was most enjoyable. The staff were able to amend my booking when storms delayed my arrival and the friendly reception confirmed my belief that this was a hotel that cared about its guests. My room had been upgraded at little extra cost and the room had great cacilities. Also worthy of mention is the free wifi, which contrasts sharply to the many highly priced London hotels I have endured. The food was also of a high standard. My starter of Croxton Manor Cheddar and Ruddles rarebit tart with tomato smoked garlic chutney was excellent and the smears of Daddies sauce was genius! The main of Surf n Turf was also better than most, with Rib Eye that was not only tender but served hot! The breakfast the next day was very good and the overall impression is 'Excellent!' I have no hesitation in recommending The King's Arms in Westerham.

Staff attentive, hotel clean and bright. Good ensuite and shower. Breakfast very good making it very good value. Window in my room would not stay open and some panes had obviously just been reglazed as it was covered with finger prints. Asked,at reception, for them to sort out window so I could have it open that night but they did not even get back to me, which in my opinion was very poor. Apart from that it was good.

Hotel is tastefully refurbished and very comfortable. We stayed on a very hot night and the window rattled all night. Could also hear fan in kitchen switching on and off all night.

Very friendly and welcoming, no lift, but was asked if I wanted someone to carry my bag upstairs. When found out I had travelled over 400 miles that day, was pointed out there was room service, nice touch. Room was a single, but did have a double bed, all very clean. No problems with TV, internet access, or any bathroom facilities. Breakfast was lovely, all freshly cooked. Overheard the table next to me asking for other things as were vegetarians, was cooked without quibble. Will certainly stay there again Only small point that no information pack in rooms regarding local facilities, restaurant times etc. Brought this up with owner who was on reception while i was checking out who apologised and explained they had only been running the place for 7 days, and they were still being prepared and printed - perfectly valid point
