Excellent and comfortable hotel, staff very friendly and welcoming. Food good and reasonably priced -with good choice from light meals and snacks through to full dinner. Ambience in restaurant at night very good. Excellent breakfast. New owner Charlie very amusing and on the ball - we will return and would certainly recommend.

Nice rural location. Poor bathroom, the tiles around the toilet base were cracked and loose, there was an exposed electrical fitting within range of possible splashing from the shower. The shower screen inadequate for the shower, water sprayed all over the floor. No fitted handrails in the shower area to improve safety whilst climbing in and out of the bath. Have said that, the shower worked well, plenty of hot water and the bathroom was very clean.

The hotel is now under new management and had very helpful staff and excellent food. My wife and daughter have a wheat allergy and were properly catered . The rooms are very well decorated and clean. A lovely hotel for a mini break.

The staff were excellent, both pre trip and during our stay. We chose the hotel as it was dog friendly and they didnt disappoint. The hotel's decor and cleanliness was better than most exclusive London hotels. The breakfast was great quality and the size of the rooms gave us enough space to relax.

The food is truly excellent, although the wine list could do with some revision. Restaurant service was a little slow at times, but staff were always courteous and worked hard to make our stay a pleasant one Could use better soundproofing - noise from the bar was a little intrusive in the bedrooms

The staff were exceptionally friendly without being overbearing, the room was well appointed and had a decent hairdryer in it! The breakfast was one of the nicest my husband has had in a while and he has spent a considerable amount of time in hotels. Overall well worth a visit!

It's an excellent hotel rooms are comfortable and stylish, restaurant is a lovely place to eat top chef cooked food ,pub is handy for a pint pre dinner,staff are alway just polite and professional ,4th time I've stayed my familly love it here

We really enjoyed our stay at the King's Head Hotel. It was nice and quiet and the bed was huge and comfy. We didn't want to drive out to a restaurant so we ate in the King's Head and were very impressed with the food. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I left some pyjamas in the room on departure and the staff rang us up to tell us! Our room didn't have a playstation as stated on the website- but we didn't go out of our way to ask for one. Also, we couldn't get channel 5 on the telly.

“Nach die Umbau überraschung war alles Super, Die Zimmer sind Neu und stilvoll renoviert, Hotel ist sehr gut gelegen direkt am Markt platz, Kostenlos parken und Freies wlan in Zimmer rundet das ganze ab. Bitte bedenken Sie das es wird gerade komplett Renoviert, stand 03.2011 und der umbau Bild etwas abschreckt ! aber davon abgesehen ist alles gut.
