Good value room
Very basic breakfast
Warm welcome we had ,no hassle ,we were in the front bedroom and to think that creamfields was on ,and was warned that they might be people coming from there early in the morning ,we slept so well we heard nobody
No cooked breakfast as they were doing up the kitchen .
Location and cleanliness plus beer
Food not available at the bar.
friendly staff, parking opposite & cheap price.
the bar lady downstairs was excellent. really really friendly, would definitely recommend this place
Lovely accommodation, lovely staff, lovely rooms, clean and comfy.
Breakfast was awful. 3 cereals, white bread, tea and coffee was all that was offered with vile tasting milk. This ruined my stay to be honest :(
plenty of room in bedroom. sheets and towels clean. bathroom clean. large tv in room. breakfast simple but ok. all food contained in proper containers. milk and juice in covered jugs. handy for rugby ground, shops and bus and train station.
didnt have any problems and would go again.
Room basic, no door on the en-suite Lots of Noise from the bar and function room Breakfast very poor A bit of a rowdy Town centre pub with rooms, not a proper hotel
Nice place, for a nice price. Perfect located just next to the station.
Friendly staff, good price for room, good location.
Poor breakfast. Very limited choice, just cerial and toast, milk was awful.
Excellent! Very clean, good staff and value for money.
Clean comfortable bed Good location in terms of closeness to station and town centre
Noise from street - take earplugs Transparent curtain No bedside light No desk Smell of smoke
First of all, the room was very dirty, there were rotten slices of apple under the bed. The window in the room didn't stay up so I had to support it with a plastic bottle. The window in the bathroom was stuck and it didn't open at all. The continental breakfast was cereals, toast, jam, and butter. No meat or cheese or anything like that. Coffee was also terrible. We didn't get keys for the front door, they just told us to knock on the window if we come back late. Parking was also not free. I would certainly not recommend this place.
I could tell form the picture on Booking.com that the Kings Head was a pub, but I did not realise that it was so basic in terms of accommodation. Continental breakfast was a couple of cereals in Tupperware containers and a 2 slice toaster too small to fit the bread slices in. It was OK for me as a single gravelled, just wish the description had been clearer about its 'level'.
Standard of rooms, helpful staff
Breakfast was "continental" aka tea and toast.
There was nothing I didn't like about my stay at The Kings Head..but my favorite was the people!! Can't wait to go back.
Friendly staff and customers
No meals available
We enjoy our stay at this hotel. It has a UK's typical pub with a lot of beer to shoose. Very nice rock music and nice stuff
Great value for money and friendly staff. For £25 each for 4 it was ideal
Fairly dodgy end of town with locals on the beer before 10am
They demanded payment as soon as I walked in the door and for the rest of my stay made me feel that I was an irritation to be got rid of as soon as possible.
Wifi was good and available, room and bedding was clean.
Other than at check in, they did not speak to us, on arrival we were told rooms weren't done and would we mind a room of 3 and a single room instead of the room for 4 that we had booked, late night noise from the pub til at least 1am, however we were out during the evening, not given a front door key just told we will be here watching boxing on tv, shower didn't work properly, Luke warm water from hot tap, and fast running cold water from other tap, breakfast was bland, milk was sour, plain cereal and bread provided with a toaster, and tea or coffee, unfortunately the floor was being mopped at the same time as breakfast was served so you had the smell of stagnant mop and cheap disinfectant, we were not even asked if we enjoyed our stay when we checked out they didn't even say goodbye
Bed extremely comfy. Room clean. Staff friendly.
Room a bit bare / sparse. Felt almost like a prison cell! Poor range of options for breakfast.
The location was perfect for Central Warrington and the halliwell jones stadium. The room was immaculate. The staff very helpful.
Breakfast is basic but we were prepared for this so no problem. The bar and music on until late but we just joined in!
friendly staff, close to some good pubs/restaurants and very comfortable bed.
no evening meals during my stay.
