SHOWER LACKED PRESSURE BUT JUST A MINOR ISSUE
Dirty carpets Mould in kettle and on walls Attitude of staff Bright hall way light shining in through window above door. Noisey Picture of building is misleading (everything around this hotel is derelict)
comfy clean beds, good breakfast, nice staff, value for money.
Great for a stopover.
On a main road so quite noisy at the front, but not enough to keep you awake.
The staff looked after us well. Thank you paula. Once the kitchen is up and running it will be an excellent place, with a choice menu. As long as they can keep The Shed a great venue.
Some of the rooms could do with a bit of TLC.
Didnt stop as location bad and parking available was across main road from pub .not tarmaced , rough waste land .decided not to stop as not happy with location or safe to leave car overnight why we across road .not happy.
Clean, and central location. Very good Italian Restaurant nearby.
Bedroom well lit by street lights. On main road so noise from traffic and late night passers by. Ordered a double room but got a room with 4 single beds.
There was no chair in the room
location, beds, bar
Poor breakfast, no food! Staff were not very friendly TV had no remote and locked up. No light outside door and lock needed attention.
Nice bar staff comfy clean room. Great for a stop over
Staff were very helpful bedding and toilet and bathroom very good. Good Parking!
unlocking doors very difficult. Basically its a Pub with bed & Breakfast but no place to bring children. No table and chair available in the rooms. No garden or drawing room. The TV was not working very well, kept loosing picture and sound!!
Noise from pub underneath
The staff made you feel welcome and accommodate your every need the beds were comfortable and its very close to the town centre we will stop here again
Lovely place in a nice location between Manchester and Liverpool...
Pub had character Drinks very reasonable priced
No mirror in room Shower only a dribble Breakfast just a loaf of bread you help yourself to slices to toast yourself, no tea or coffee offered Room smells musty Bedroom blind broken
Good value room
Very basic breakfast
Warm welcome we had ,no hassle ,we were in the front bedroom and to think that creamfields was on ,and was warned that they might be people coming from there early in the morning ,we slept so well we heard nobody
No cooked breakfast as they were doing up the kitchen .
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the lady at the bar called us a cheap taxi to save money on the way to creamfields rather than getting ripped off by taxis at the train station, little touches like that really make a difference.
Small breakfast selection
Location and cleanliness plus beer
Food not available at the bar.
Bed very comfortable. Single room surprisingly big. Very clean.
Hot water took 2 or 3 minutes to get to the shower but once it arrived it was a good shower. No good if you're in a rush.
Staff tried there best to make us comfortable
Poor quality of facility, high price. Facility hasn't any renovations for at least 20 years. Was mislead by positive reviews, most probably all of them fake.
Ripped off by the owner with a pathetic excuse ("can't refund because you paid by credit card", seriously?) The reviews are fake, so beware! They do not serve food as reviews say. They do no accept american express, even if it is clearly indicated on the door. This place is a dump and a fraud, avoid it!
friendly staff, parking opposite & cheap price.
the bar lady downstairs was excellent. really really friendly, would definitely recommend this place
