Just 6 miles from the foot of Ben Lomond, this friendly 4-star hotel has a quiet location, on the shores of Loch Ard. It has a spa, a select menu of wines and whiskeys, and an on-site activity center....
Score from 214 reviews Very good
Location, parking, comfortable, excellent spread for breakfast. Large room.
Very comfy place to stay. Breakfast variety was accommmodating for all guests. Nice pouched eggs
The location the accomodation and warm friendly welcome and service provided by the owners
Nothing at all to dislike, the hosts were absolutely fantastic, ( Ray is a good laugh, and always willing to help ).
Everything was great. No complain for anything.
The friendly owners The great, v.central location
Specified a double room, but got two twin beds pushed together with two single duvets - not a massive issue but fussier customers might have complained
Great views from the house
Very friendly hosts, great location within easy walking distance of the town, and fantastic views.
The carpet needed hoovering and the surfaces were a bit dusty in the bedroom and bathroom.
Friendliness of staff
We stayed for 2 nights during a tour of Scotland. Very friendly/helpful hosts .Excellent accommodation, breakfasts.Perfect in every way.
Peaceful and quiet with friendly staff. Massive roomm with lots of storage space.
lives up to its reviews breakfast best i have had close to a 10 thank you
Location. Room. Quietness Breakfast
Parking- a bit cramped and a "bump" that isn't obvious until you hit it. People allergic to dogs need to know that although the owners do not allow pets, they have a large dog themselves.
A very agreable stay ! Large room with big windows overlooking the town.Everything very well kept, comfortable and clean. Charming Hosts! Thank you!
Friendly owners. Great breakfast. Lovely location close to town but in quiet street with lovely views.
Comfortable room, very nice breakfast, great location, owners were attentive, friendly and helpful and had excellent local knowledge. Great value for money and really enjoyed our stay!

Could use some extra outside lighting in the car park.
Location nice welcome and brill breakfast.
Spacious accommodation for the money
Location: close to town and hiking trails; View: the view from our room was fantastic; Hosts: made us welcome;
Ashley & Ray were great hosts - very friendly, sociable, and helpful.
The size of the rooms. The breakfast choices were excellent
the entance from the road is very steep, if your vehicle is low at the front you can "bottom out"if not careful
Spacious room, comfortable beds, excellent tasty breakfast, nice helpful hosts. The town center is few minutes walk from the B&B where we had pleasant dinner. It was one of the best stays during our week sent traveling around Scotland. If you travel by car and visit Stirling castle, we recommend The Knowe Guest House to stay before or after.
Excellent room with twin beds AND an attached room with sofa. Very clean and comfortable. Very quiet.
