    - Customer service - Comfortable bed - The washroom was clean! - worth the value of money

    - the surrounded environment is too quiet, feeling insecure - bad smell when I first entered to the room - facilities in room (i.e. Table and Chair) is not stable

Very clean accommodation and everyone of us mentioned the fact that we would stay again!

Wasn't very well looked after on the outside! We were in shock until we became settled in our rooms!

I like the location and its a quite area. Free WiFi . Rooms are alright .

Put brew kits in the rooms instead, With the money we pay for per night breakfast should be part of it because there is no parking provided. Towels should be free as well.

    - Close to Anfield Stadium - Next to bus stop to city centre (about 10 mins) and next o railway station - Comfortable rooms - Free wi-fi - Free coffe, tea & chocolate - Helpfull and nice man from the staff

    - There was quite hot in our room - No lift & narrow staircases, so it was little bit difficult to climb them with a big suitcase - No reception desk, there were only few hours when the staff was in the b&b - A little bit dirty bathroom, but that wasn't very uncomfortable

near the train station and many frequent buses. Clear paramaters such as times and costs

the whole place is basic but to be expected for the money.

That I could have my dog with me & the staff appreciated that it was best we had a room out of the way.

I didn't realize it was shared bathroom/WC when I booked. No eating places or shops nearby.

Would not call it a b&b. it's a hostel. Nothing more. Could've got a proper hotel in town for the same money. 2 single beds on each side of the room and towels for hire. Have stayed in lovely places for half the price.

The bedrooms were nice and roomy.

I thought the breakfast was included as it is a b&b.

Comfortable bed, nice room, staff friendly and excellent value for money. TV and freeview and no meters in room.

Smell in room. I believe this was from outside though. Window was open for short time so perhaps it made its way into my room. Gig cobweb on wall and three moths found in room too. Noisy guests during the early hours of the morning.

Basic, Clean & friendly staff!! Great for a group weekend away. Only £4 in a taxi or £3 return on the train into the city centre!

No bar, the hotel is in a rough area. Wouldn't recommend the hotel for lone travellers/couples. Geared more towards larger groups

warm welcome and very friendly staff we just needed a cheap accommodation and spended the rest of the day in the city. it had all we needed: clean beds, tv and free wifi, everything very basic it is less than 5 minutes to the train station, from where you can drive 3stops and your are right in the centre of Liverpool. Coffee and tea are for free and available around the clock. fish&chips shop an a little store are just around the corner - if you haven't had dinner you can have a cheap meal for the evening. easy check-in and -out. late check-in was possible though you had to pay xtra charge for a late arrival but that's ok.

only criticism would be that there are only two small bathrooms for each floor, one of them even had no mirror. I would prefer private bathrooms instead of shared ones, but that was already mentioned in the description so you know what to expect.

Arriving at The Knowsley we were greeted by the friendliest gentlemen who checked us in to our room. Upon entering our room we were very impressed by the sheer size of the room as we had booked a room for 5 people. The location was perfect as we were heading out in the city centre to dance the night away and a taxi one way cost a small £6. As we settled into our room the gentlemen reappeared with a pack of playing cards. The staff at The Knowsley clearly go above and beyond to ensure their guests have a fantastic stay. You would be crazy to not book yourself into this well run establishment. My friends and I are visiting Liverpool again for the International Music Festival and we will definitely be booking into The Knowsley.

Spacious and comfortable room. Friendly and competent staff. Nice common area.

The B&B isn't easy to find and is easily missed when coming from the city centre. Lack of touristical information about the area.

Staff was very helpful room was clean free tea coffee pleasent atmosphere the price was good and a bus ride to the town centre would stay again.

At first the place looked run down and scruffy from the outside and as you went up the first lot of stairs their was a musty stench that would put people off staying but when you went up the next lot of stairs it got better, i think if the outside was painted it would look more inviting as we nearly turned back home as it look that scruffy.
