The lakenheath had character and was very clean and tidy. Homely lounge with large TV and free internet. Comfortable beds and nice bathroom. The lakenheath should really be marketed as a Bed and Breakfast. The restaurant was closed and there was no residents bar

The feeling of being at home while away from home was the best feature of the hotel. The hotel historical features make it adorable. Steve, was super helpful and had vast knowledge about the area. The room was quiet and comfortable. It was perfect for my business trip, but now I would love to go back and enjoy it with some friends for a holiday. We will be back soon!

My husband & myself stayed at this hotel for one night as we were visiting family in Lakenheath. The Hotel was very old,but the room was very clean, nice white sheets & clean towels.Power shower was good.T.V In the room, fridge all you needed. The floor was a bit sloping, making you feel you were on a boat. But for one night it was very comfortable & would reccomend it for a short stay.

We had a lot of space and a kitchen. As expected, the building was very old. Smells are expected with older homes, but it would be nice to open a window or something,

We were welcomed by the owner on arrival and shown to the suite that we had booked. The hotel was cosy and welcoming and very clean and comfortable, would have no problem in returning for another visit. No complaints at all.

It was quiet........NOTHING ELSE!....You would be wise to remove it from your site!!Its the worst hotel we have ever used On arrival......they were constantly seeing to their car hire business...the place stunk!..When we were eventually shown to the room...which,also stank....the floor was not level and UNSAFE(Both of us sprained our ankles) the room had obviously been used by a previous tennant and had simply had its duvet thrown back over, there was no coffee or tea or milk or buscuits and only one cup..the other missing and the saucer had a coffee ring where the cup had been...no towel.....and the room had been smoked in.....As we had tried several on your site...we were obviuously left with the scum and had to use a hotel somewhere as we were there on business......we made our excuses and left early...cancelling the rest of our stay.Whist we returned ....there was a guest couple attempting to get in as they had booked a room...we let them in.....there was nobody about at ALL!!They phoned the owner and he refused to come back and give them their keys!!!So.......they booked in down the road....where they advised us to do the same.We had to buy our own brown bread to take back to the hotel as the white was supermarket paper bread...but that was down to personal taste....I Honestly feel sorry for anyone used to hotels that frequent this doss HOUSE.......We....will never return.

It was close to where I had as a destination 5 miles up the road. I could have walked to where I wanted to go. It was a restful night and very comfortable. Hospitality of landlord and staff were excellent. I would stay again if I was in that area. No whistles or bells but basic, clean, simple location and on a main road. I have no complaints. I was able to get a lift from a friend of the establishment. Pleased.

Comfortable generally and staff friendly. Nice continental breakfast and large bathroom with a big shower cubicle and power shower The flooring in the bedroom was very sloped and gave the impression of being on a boat. It was a bit disorientating.

The bed was comfortable, Owners very friendly and welcoming. A non-cooked breakfast included is always a plus, you don't always want a fry-up, although i think they will do one if you pay a little extra. Nothing really I didn't like, but the hotel was a bit old fashioned for me but other visitors would probably like it.

The fact that I could keep my dogs there, and it was quiet I got a double room and it turned out to be 2 single beds at opposite sides of the room. My husband and I had to sleep in separate beds.

Hotel was close to Lakenheath afb, and surrounding area, we were there to attend our son's wedding. Our room was exactly as pictured, clean and had most amenities you need. Great frige and microwave and pot for tea/coffee. No phone or clock?? Did have adapters which was nice, and even gave us a space heater as I was cold the first night. They have a computer at the front desk so was able to keep up on my emails. The continental breakfast was nice, and served in a quant breakfast room. Within walking distance to the small market and pharmacy, and some nearby pizza and sushi shops. Very rural area and would need transportation to nearby larger shopping areas. Beautiful countryside and wonderful english villages nearby. Loved our stay. (Review given by female)

The staff were friendly and welcoming. The rooms were immaculate and bed very comfy. The bathroom was amazing. We arrived later in the evening after the reception had closed but the staff were accomodating to this and it was much appreciated.
