The Allium Room is a newly refurbished super deluxe double room with a roll top bath and plasma screen TV in the bathroom. Rosie is a superior double room, newly refurbished with its own private garden. The Shepherd Room is a superior double room with a four-poster bed for that special occasion. The Barn Room is a superior double with an elegant half-tester bed. There are superior double, twin and standard double rooms.

Courteous discreet and efficient staff. Beautiful surroundings. We loved the old beams and slate floors, chintzy furniture and perfect bedrooms. The food was excellent as well. |

I thought The Lamb very pretty visually. The bedroom was small, the bed very comfortable and clean. Decor throughout was very "tired" and the carpet too. The most disappointing was the bathroom. When I'm away, I enjoy a moden, clean, luxurious bathroom. It's part of the pleasure of being away, particularly when I have this at home. Food was very good and the staff friendly and most helpful. Heaven, but if you like your pubs with tv, piped music and games machines this is not the one for you. A lovely welcoming smell of real wood fires in quaint surroundings. A really relaxing place for a short break. |

We found the staff to be very friendly and attentive, nothing was too much trouble. We really loved the interior decor of the hotel and found it extremely comfortable. Food was excellent - one of the best hotel breakfasts I've ever eaten. The only very small thing I could complain about was the lock on our room door (Barn) which was very tricky to open and kept getting jammed! It would have been nice to have a free-standing bath in the bathroom - but that said, the larger shower was very good. |

We have been going to The Lamb for about 14 years and have seen it change hands. We love Burford and The Lamb is a lovely hotel. When we tried to book in we were ignored, finally acknowledged and told to wait whilst the member of staff started clearing tables from lunch! Some of the staff were good whilst others left a lot to be desired in our opinion. |
