The staff were very friendly and attentive, nothing was too much trouble for them. The bed was very comfortable and the facilities were excellent. I would certainly recommend the Lamb Inn, Burford is typical Cotswold Village but the price of everything is outrageous!

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the hotel was comfortable with lovely open fires, sofas and pretty garden. Our room was exactly what I asked for; quiet (even though it was above the reception/bar), the bed was enormous! and very comfortable and the en-suite was lovely and warm, the shower (once we worked out how to use it) was great - always loads of hot water. The only downside was the lack of good lighting for putting on make-up - could do with a light above the sink. The bar food was very good, although quiet expensive but the breakfasts extremely good. The hotel is off the main high street, so quieter than some and although no parking we never had a problem. We would definitely stay again.

Comfort, the food and most of all the courtesy and friendliness of the staff. In Munich recently we were impressed when all the staff addressed you by name. At the Lamb we were addressed as Mr. and Mrs. Morgan whenever we spoke to the staff. A small but impressive touch. Lack of parking is something of a handicap but we managed very well.

The old Cotswold architecture, combined with comfort and luxury. Subtle combination of modern comforts of such items as Flat-Screened television and good lighting with antique furniture and beautifully carved tables. Greatly appreciated the roaring log fires and comfortable sofas. Bedroom was spacious, and well lit from both side windows, one with window-seat, overlooking Sheep Lane with its delightful old cottages and cobbled road. Best use made of available bedroom space which incorporated 4-poster bed. Acceptably small bathroom with shower included elegant suite and heated bathrail. Delightful view of internal courtyard and gardens from window. No comments

We have stayed at The Lamb Inn many times and we love it. We have our favourite rooms however, as some are larger than others so we recommend superior rooms. Some areas are a little tired but lovely and clean and so cosy and welcoming. The bar is quite simple and traditional. Log fires in several rooms and extemely welcoming and helpful staff. Cant wait to go back!!

The staff were very helpful and friendly, the food was lovely, including a very large cooked breakfast that set us up nicely for the day! The room was very pretty with lots of little added touches and very comfortable. We would recommend this hotel and would stay again for another special occasion.

We like the Cotswolds, especially old Inns. Many exist over the Cotswolds & their standards are high. The Lamb is quaint & in an enjoyable area. Parking is Burford is a problem, but that is the same for most of the Cotswolds.

The settin of the lamb is beautiful and the staff are friendly. Personally i found it was very expensive for what it is. The room was very small and the shower was totally inadequate. My girlfriend who is 5,8 was too tall for the shower! The room was also very hot.

The feel of the history of the place. Cosy bar and lounge areas with lovely furniture and well decorated rooms. Very attentive and friendly staff. An excellent location in a beautiful village. Only thing I would say is that the ensuites are very poor. Showers very weak and could do with upgrading soon!

Attractive, quaint boutique Inn. Room furnished tastefully and clean and comfortable. Dismissive attitude of young staff team to needs of patrons. This will prevent me returning or recommending this hotel to anyone else.

Nothing to dislike about The Lamb, it lived up to expectations and we had a wonderful time both there and touring The Cotswolds. The staff were excellent, the food outstanding (esp Breakfast) and the rooms were brilliant - what a place to stay. We will return!
