Courteous discreet and efficient staff. Beautiful surroundings. We loved the old beams and slate floors, chintzy furniture and perfect bedrooms. The food was excellent as well. |

I thought The Lamb very pretty visually. The bedroom was small, the bed very comfortable and clean. Decor throughout was very "tired" and the carpet too. The most disappointing was the bathroom. When I'm away, I enjoy a moden, clean, luxurious bathroom. It's part of the pleasure of being away, particularly when I have this at home. Food was very good and the staff friendly and most helpful. The town of Burford, the beautiful cottage garden at the The Lamb Inn The food was a little pretentious - stopped us eating there. More 'country fair' and traditional Cotswolds dishes would have been better. |

Very comfortable and well appointed hotel. Incredible character building in a beautiful town. The evening meal was excellent in every way. Not a cheap stay but cost is nit a problem when everything is this good. No o site car parking, but plenty of space in street. |

Good atmosphere and good food Room is very small, bathroom too close to the bed, extractor fan not working, water pressure was so low it took a long time to have a shower. We had TV in the room but could only get four analogue channels. |

The staff were friendly, the Inn was very quaint and it was cosy by the log fires The cooked breakfast was of a fairly average standard and one day there was a long wait for it |

Heaven, but if you like your pubs with tv, piped music and games machines this is not the one for you. A lovely welcoming smell of real wood fires in quaint surroundings. A really relaxing place for a short break. |

We found the staff to be very friendly and attentive, nothing was too much trouble. We really loved the interior decor of the hotel and found it extremely comfortable. Food was excellent - one of the best hotel breakfasts I've ever eaten. The only very small thing I could complain about was the lock on our room door (Barn) which was very tricky to open and kept getting jammed! It would have been nice to have a free-standing bath in the bathroom - but that said, the larger shower was very good. |

Comfortable and non-intrusive, without the pressure found in a regular hotel. Low key with good service at all times. |

We have been going to The Lamb for about 14 years and have seen it change hands. We love Burford and The Lamb is a lovely hotel. When we tried to book in we were ignored, finally acknowledged and told to wait whilst the member of staff started clearing tables from lunch! Some of the staff were good whilst others left a lot to be desired in our opinion. |

The food was very good, dinner and breakfast, uses local suppliers for freshness No not really, stairs to first floor are very steep for luggage movement, but the character of the building has been maintained. |

The hotel was clean and comfortable and very welcoming and cosy. It was rather a pity that the menu in the restaurant did not change each day. |
