Only thing I can thing of was that the hair dryer in the room was faulty , a bit of a fire hazard but I told the reception and I'm sure they will get it sorted.
I likes the staff, the drink prices were very reasonable. The only thing I ate myself was a desert the rest of the meals I ate while I was out and about. My other friends enjoyed the food they had though. Cost of the room was very agreeable considering it was for 4 people. They had games to play in the bar in the evening at the bar, dominos etc. overall a nice atmosphere and cosy. Easy to park and find and there is a budgens just down the road in case you need anything out of the pub hours.

The area is quiet and out the way but very easy to find. The rooms are clean modern and cosy and the food is fresh (real fresh) Worth every penny Welcoming, friendly staff!

In the middle of nowhere
Stayed in the Blagdon Suite as a family suite in a converted out building. Very spacious, brilliant staff and superb freshly cooked food. No microwave meals here,Chef prepared.

Good location for exploring the area. Comfortable rooms - nice and warm!

The only thing that was not perfect for me was bathroom as it was a wet room and floor stayed wet for while and I love my bath, but that just my very personal preference. None of us really mind it
I took a couple of my friends to Cheddar Gorge as a suprise for their birthday. I was looking for a cheap accommodation as it was me who payed for everything for three people. We all loved the place. Easy to find, lovely facilities, very warm, clean and stylish. It was our cup of tea. Everyone was impressed, so obviously I was glad that after tiring walking day everyone liked the places. It was so quiet there, we loved it

We arrived approx 7.30pm to stay before our flight from Bristol the next morning. We were greeted with a friendly welcome and shown to our room. Room was spotless. Good parking. We didn't is the wifi or have breakfast as checked out at 4am for early flight. It's close to the airport and would recommend and use this b&b again.

We rarely find somewhere that can accommodate all 5 of us in one room, the children loved the jacuzzi bath!
29 March 2015
No reception area so wondered around aimlessly looking for it only to check in at restaurant. Lounge needs updating and is not comfortable and doesn't live up to the rest of the establishment. Everything else makes up for it though. Will definitely stay there again.
Rooms are modern, clean, are nicely decorated and have lots of character. Great shower! Restaurant has delicious food and huge portions. Good breakfast too.

Could hear the shower and people next door burrington
Cooked breakfast nice but £8.95 extra

The was litter around the car parking area and behind our outside staircase. The height of the jacussi bath was excessive, it was most difficult to climb in and there was nothing to hold on to except the taps. A step would be helpful and make it safer The WiFi connection, it was erratic and generally very slow. The lack of a refrigerator.
The staff were great, the location is excellent. There is ample free off the road parking. The price would quite reasonable if the negative things could be rectified. The outdoor staircase was fine, however it may be difficult for anyone with walking difficulties.

Room not clean on arrival, and cleaned intermittently, Soap dispenser never filled in bathroom, bath cleaned sometimes in 2 week stay, Key card for room often failed, needed recharging - worrying for returning late. One staff member v unfriendly/indifferent
Warm, comfortable room Wifi

Nothing can't fault it, and for a room that can sleep 6 adults a bargain.
This top barn family of 6 room was just perfect for our one night stay. Having two tv's was great so kids could watch their thing. Also free wifi a bonus. Jaccuzzi bath a great entertainer for the kids. We had breakfst in the pub which was lovely. Great location for visiting Bath or Bristol. Close to Mendip Ski centre. The staff found one of the kids devices hidden under a pillow just before we left so very grateful for that.

Breakfast was good. Room was lovely.
7 February 2015
The heating does not work properly. Only upstairs it was warm. All the heat escaped to the upper floor and the ground floor was freezing. Same applies to the bathroom.
Nice cosy hotel.
5 February 2015
The pub itself did not seem to cater for young children and thet got bored easily
Nice Large Family Room
1 February 2015
Bed was too soft for my liking but partner slept fine
Food in the pub was fantastic, could not fault it. Shower was great, nice and powerful, perfect size room for a couple to escape for a couple of nights!
17 January 2015
The room was cold and it took half the night for the electric radiator to warm the room on max. setting as the high ceiling made it difficult. The WC cistern had a leak which meant that it kept refilling with a whoosh every 10minutes or so. The bathroom was also cold and only heated by a towel rail.
good quality room and facilities apart from the heating.
9 January 2015
It was a cold evening and the room was freezing we were given a small plug in fan heater but it made no difference
The setting and layout are good the room decor and the room in general is good

For a one night stop I can't think of anything I disliked.
Large, comfortable, clean room, attached to a nice friendly Village Pub, with excellent parking. Good value.
28 December 2014
Could not get the internet to work. Handicapped bathroom was large and spacious, but tile floor was really cold on the feet (heated floor would have been nice)
Comfortable beds. Good English breakfast. Very quiet. We liked the booklet in the room with things to see nearby--because of this, we went to Glastonbury Abbey and thoroughly enjoyed it (though previously we'd not heard of it.)
