Old charm friendly clean
No fridge spa bath didn.t work
The location was fab, the staff accommodating and the room lovely. Only problem was we could only get wifi actually in the pub as it wouldn't work in our room!
Nice fish pie, good bees.
Expensive room and expensive food and drink. Curry was supposed to be chicken but in reality was curry and red and green capsicum curry and also small.
Clean, tidy, modern accommodation, best of all was the food available in the restaurant, great selection of dishes with excellent fish choices.
Wifi was a bit unsayable to start but this was soon rectified by the helpful staff.
Food is very good in the restaurant. The place is very nice and quiet. Room was clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Was a lovely place staff very friendly think it's more for couples as not anything for children there Would go back again
Rooms were comfy. Disabled access.
Wi-fi in our room was problematic and did not work for 95% of our stay, despite the efforts of the owners/staff to sort the problem (although available 100% of the time in the bar). We experienced a poor standard of food. Cost of food and drinks was also high and did not reflect the quality/description promised, very disappointed. Maybe the Chef had a night off? Could do with a squeegee mop in shower room as it flooded when used.
staff could have been more accomodating
It was a perfect stay we enjoyed every moment. The food was lovely.
just some wifi disruptions in the suite.
- very bumpy, "V-shaped" beds (we all woke up with back pain) - dirty towels (we even got dirtier ones after complaining!) - wi-fi did not work during entire stay - rubbish bin had not been emptied - staff reacted rudely to our complaints, found poor excuses and did not make any efforts to improve the situation
Beds! Room was perfect for a family of 5. Everyone slept well and our stay was very comfortable.
Pub smelt fusty and damp in the morning.
Lovd everything about our stay we stayed for one night in a suite as there were 6 of us staying. The suite was massive & we had a jacuzzi bath which was unexpected. Myself my four chilldrn stayed with my mother all 6 of us enjoyed every second of our stay. We had our eveing meal here & the food was delicious and plenty of choice. We also stayed for breakfast & we were spoilt for choice we had our fill for the day. Well worth very penny & the staff were fantastic cannot praise them enough, we found the hotel very child friendly too thank you we are already going to book up for next year.
friendly staff. Good good. Nice atmosphere.
No hot and cold markings on taps. Keycard kept failing. Bed too small ! Lousy nights sleep
Beautiful looking from the outside
The food was a little undercooked for me and I asked for it to be cooked better. They literally took it, microwaved it and gave me the same food back!! Then we tried to sort out breakfast and I explained my 5yr old is dairy and wheat intolerant and cant eat pork or have sugar/sweetners so asked if we could just have beans and egg or something similar instead and was refered to the manager. She was extremely rude from the start and refused to allow for that kind of change. She said there was fruit he could have but wanted to charge me the full price of a continental breakfast. She also said we could substitute food in the full english so instead of sausages and black pudding and hash browns etc that kids wont/cant eat she said we could have 2 or 3 items of the same thing!! Basically 6.99 for a plate of egg and bacon!!!! Very unhelpful and very rude. The room was lovely and big but was very dirty and was falling apart and there were no blinds on the roof windows so in summer it was very light making it hard for the kids to fall asleep. I would not recomend and would not stay there again!!!
Friendly young staff. Flexible about food, adjusting menu to suit children's request. Room was large and reasonable value for money.
No WiFi access (despite claim). Door had to be forced shut and card key didn't work, even when replaced. We were disturbed in the night by use of a small cupboard set into the room from the outside and used by the hotel staff when clearing up in the evening.
Loved our accommodation.
Difficult to get wifi to work.
The family room was a good size very comfortable clean and the jacuzzi bath was brilliant,The pub was also brilliant with great food,i would definitely stay here again
Everything was easy...no hassle
The staff were friendly, the food was great and the family room was much nicer than I'd expected. After a long day in the car, our 2 boys were able to play outside in the garden and we could enjoy our meal in really lovely surroundings. It was a really lovely way to start our holiday.
Nothing. The Inn is fantastic.
Nice cosy room right next to the beer garden. Room was clean with large bathroom and spacious interior. Helpful service.
There are not many local taxi services so make sure that you book a taxi in advance if necessary or check what is going on in Bristol or Weston Super Mare.
Really poor wifi Room a bit outdated
Very pleasant young bar staff.
