There were four of us staying in one room we all wanted a shower in the morning but we ran out of hot water after the first two

Rooms was well equipped, shower was good.

Room floor was very dirty and sticky, crumbs on side board, build up of dust in corners, entrance to bar/restaurant from car park was filthy, so i ate out and declined breakfast, which was not even included in the price

The accommodation , it was like a large bedsit . Spacious ;at ground floor level and 'homely'. Being able to park close to our room. The breakfast.

Room was quite cold but did warm up. Coldness of the timber floor and I had no slippers.

Very disappointed with thefood

We were made really welcome . The Landlord lit the fire in the sitting room so that we could enjoy our excellent bar meal in a more relaxed setting as the pub was fully booked .Excellent location only 5 miles from the airport . We would definitely go back as this would be an ideal place to stay for a visit to Bath . a really good find and excellent value for money .

Our room was a little cold ! however it was minus 4 outside !

Pub server a good range of food and was very popular gastro-pub.

Due to design of mezzanine level, the heating kept upstairs too warm and downstairs too cool.

The Winscombe Room was spacious, clean and warm. It was well appointed. Continental breakfast very good apart from coffee. Check-in was quick and helpful.

Noise from room above. WiFi didn't work. Noise from outside: kitchen extractor fans and cars were clearly audible. Coffee (coffee?) at breakfast was appalling - the colour of weak tea. How they could do that to Martin Carwardine's wonderful coffee beats me. The waitress didn't seem that interested in stopping to see if all was ok. Perhaps she'd been told to make the coffee stretch as far as possible. A shame because otherwise it ticked the boxes.

The food was excellent, a rather pleasant surprise.

Room was absolutely freezing cold. Only one electric heater in the room meant it took hours to warm up. My advice would be to put the heating on if you know you have the rooms booked out that day so at least the visitors walk in to a warm room when it is minus outside!

Good pub food, great breakfast, quiet location, good value for money, great familt room

Double bed was a little short for my 6'5" frame. converted barn was chic but the atmosphere affected my wife's and son's asthma a little shower head was fine for washing my navel but had to be hand-held for anything higher

The room was nice and airy, the superking size bed was serene, although the sofa beds were uncomfortable and worn.The bath was appealing but there was not enough hot water to turn on the jets,resulting in the water being sprayed aroung the room. I feel very let down.

Unfriendliness. Lack of information given on arrival. Food!! Advertised as home cooking but sadly it wasn't and we were all very ill after our evening meal and then again after breakfast. This was no coincidence, the standard was extremeley poor. I was surprised at the lack of communication from the staff, it was as though we had walked in and walked out without anyone noticing, very unusual, nothing like I had anticipated.

The food in the pub was superb and great value. The room was better than was expected. Big thumbs up

We wanted a bed close to the airport. What we found was a well run, and good value for your money business. The food was good, staff friendly/helpful and the rooms comfy. The kids menu deserves special mention. Why give your money to one of the big chains near the airport? Stay in a well run Inn with good beer instead.

Warm, clean, good food onsite

We stayed one evening before our flight and went for a meal in the evening, which was lovely, really nice meal. They remembered that our flight home was quite a late evening one, so took the time to email us to ask if any problems/delays so they could accomodate us checking in that evening, fantastic personal touch!!
