Tophotel in London. Dit hotel maakt zijn reputatie meer dan waar. Niet voor niets was dit een van de favoriete hotels van Princess Diana.

wij hadden een kamer op de 3e etage. Uitzicht kale muur en steeg. Geef de gast een mogelijkheid een kamer te kiezen.

Wij vonden het meeste wel goed en hebben geen aanmerkingen

Dat men in Engeland standaard tot 15% servicekosten berekend en dan ook nog fooi vraagt zijn we in Holland niet gewend

Last stayed room coz that was v congested.

Liked the close proximity to major tube stations. Liked the hotel retaurants. Bathrooms are well designed, with plenty of shelves. Staff were generally very friendly and helpful.

Bed could be firmer, negatively affected my back. Good hotels need to excel with firm bedding. Turndown service was a bit spotty, one night they did it as though only one person was staying in the room. This is a very minor quibble, however.

Little touches such as the turn down service each night. Everything provided. The bed linen was to die for!

Food in Palm Court and breakfast in Roux

Bar very crowded

Class, sophistication and elegance. The staff are very attentive and nothing is too much trouble. The Artesian Bar makes the best cocktails in the world. The food at Roux (2 x Michellin Stars) is superb. Afternoon tea in the Palm Court is an absolute must. Gym, sauna, steam room, pool and spa pool are all very well equipped. The hotel is immaculate from top to bottom. The location.

It's expensive, but it's reassuringly expensive! ;)

We have stayed here many times and the prices continue to rise to the extent that it is no longer value for money. Too much competition in London with equally good hotels

The room was spacious and beautifully quiet and the bed was huge and exceptionally comfortable . The staff were very friendly and helpful whilst at the same time being very professional - we couldn't fault our three day stay at all . The restaurant was also excellent as were the breakfasts in the palm .

Never seen rooms so clean.

The fact that it is close to the center of the city

The Langham should be characterized as a shabby old lady, either a Mrs. Bucket in the international Hotel World It is totally oldfashioned. The management should pay a lot more attention to the quality of all aspects. I felt ashamed to experience the poor situation of this oldest Grandhotel of Europe

The swimming pool was great- both times we were the only ones there-and the sauna and showers in the changing room . The spa staff were superb. The location was excellent for shopping,eating out and meeting friends. As it was Easter,my son got 2 small chocolate bunnies on his bedside table at bedtime on the Saturday- very sweet.

The reception staff were extremely unhelpful - we arrived at 2.35 pm for a 3 pm check in having travelled for 3 hrs to get there but had to wait til 3.45 til our rooms were ready! No offer of complimentary tea or coffee etc but in the end we did get them free but only because I asked!It was not a good start. My husband, 11 yr old son and 78 yr old mother and myself were put in 2 non adjacent rooms on the second floor which were a very long walk from the lift and up 8 stairs as well which my mother found very difficult. The grand twin rooms are nothing special- I would definitely pay extra for langham club rooms if I returned- which have free breakfast afternoon tea and drinks and canapés in the evening. We also found the attitude of both female maitre d's in the palm court restaurant most unfriendly and unhelpful regarding tables for afternoon tea and breakfast - rather bizarre. Also the price of a full breakfast at£30 per head plus vat is utterly ridiculous- surely this should be inclusive in the room rate in a luxury hotel charging top prices?

Location; near Oxford Circus so close for shopping, and the tube to get to other parts of London. Within walking distance to Regents Park. Excellent food and drink service in the hotel.

I booked a smoking room through booking.com but when I arrived at the hotel I was told that the type of room I had booked was non-smoking and I had to pay for an up grade to a type of room which had the smoking option.

One of the top three hotels in London. Can't fault it at all.

Hotel was stunning, refurb is beautifully done. Will be staying again for sure.
