Food was amazing, staff very welcoming and friendly
Warm welcome from the start. Made to feel right at home.
The location, excellent food with fair choice on the menu, friendly and professional staff.
That we had to leave!
A friendly atmosphere as soon as we arrived and it just got better! Food certainly lived up to our expectations and more. I would recommend this (and have) to many of my friends.
Stayed here many times and as always the accommodation, food and beer were excellent, staff friendly
A brilliant location, beautiful countryside. Very welcoming food excellent . Rooms very comfortable and spotless everything provided(iron, hair dryer, toiletries etc) would recommend without hesitation .
Room was clean and comfortable and warm.staff were very helpful. the breakfast was excellent
The beds were creaky which kept us awake at night, the towel rail was hot as I exit the shower you brush your arm on it, if you slip that is the first thing you grab, shower door should open the other side. The food is to expensive for what you get, with not much choice
Picturesque area; lovely restaurant; convenient parking, excellent dinner and breakfast.
Loved the food and the service.
The beds and bed linen need upgrading - not matching linen and mattresses uncomfortable, one covered in a plastic mattress cover.
Lovely location, good food, clean well kept premises with a lovely feel and detail. Very comfortable thank you and good value. Can't wait to return
The location, the staff, the food, the garden all made what had been booked as just somewhere to sleep over into a relaxing enjoyable stay we would love to repeat
We had our own front door with lobby area for coats, shoes and suitcases. Breakfast excellent with wide range of cereals, home made preserves and good choice of full cooked meal. Staff very friendly. Had 2 meals in restaurant which were excellent.
Would have liked one if the rooms which were facing the courtyard.
Staff Food!! Location Dogs welcome too!
Excellent locally sourced food at a reasonable price presented in an interesting range of dishes on a menu that is not too long. Having had dinner on the first night we could not manage the full breakfast but what we did have was again excellent.
Bed was a little on the hard side a more comfortable mattress would have made this stay perfect.
Loved the surrounding village. Room was comfortable and spacious. Great meals available.
Food was amazing We reserved a table for dinner - the service was brilliant and the food really really excellent. Really lovely, attentive staff too. Breakfast was fantastic, loads of fresh berries, yoghurt, fresh coffee and cereals and a wonderfully cooked hot breakfast. Room was comfortable and it was so quiet which we loved.
Nothing really - there was a slight problem with the taps - if you flushed the loo you couldn't get any cold water until the cistern and refilled - but honestly only a minor point.
The setting, the quality of the food and the friendly and efficient staff.
There was no warning notice regarding the extremely hot temperature of the water when only using the hot from the mixer tap in the bathroom wash basin.
Friendliness of all staff. great food.great location will be returning in the spring.
Totally people and dog friendly. Super food, excellent accommodation, lovely garden
Geat service, fantastic food, very relaxing. Tremendous value for money.
the host , Barbara, couldn't have been more helpful, the food was great, and Taddlestones cottage, which she offered us for our stay, was a dream come true. lovely village, lovely locals, great food and host, what more could you want?
Local Dorset cider! Food very good & accommodation clean & comfortable. Staff & locals very friendly.
Shower had little power but that could be due to the location of the Inn. Location was quiet but if you want options for eating etc it is remote & you would need to drive.
Understanding this is a pub the room was comfortable clean and good size and in a separate building and therefore quiet. Good food and very friendly.
Loved the food and the clean comfortable accommodation.
Friendly welcoming staff, spacious comfortable room, beautiful gardens and delicious food. No complaints whatsoever!
