“A pleasant welcome on arrival. A clean tidy room. A very nice breakfast which was tasty and well presented by a charming waitress with a nice smile. The hotel is close to town centre and the places of interest and would be ideal for exploring the surrounding area.”

The entrance hall and lounge had a welcoming, homely feel. The English breakfast was nicely cooked, no grease, delicious sausage. The duvet in my opinion was too hot for May. Luckily there were blankets in the cupboard to use as an alternative. The bedroom and bathroom decor looked a bit tired.

Location is great for the NAC showground, price is good and the breakfast excellent. The Hotel is more like a family run B&B than a large corporate traditional hotel, so it's friendly and the staff care about you. I've stayed before on my own and this time brought my young son and he loved it! Could do with better pillows and maybe two on each bed. The road junction can be a little noisey with traffic, but nothing too concerning.

Very British with every pro and con that comes with it. I recommend it to anyone who wish to stay for a couple of nights in a typical British B&B.

Location was perfect as was 5 minutes walk form the main centre, breakfast was superb - better than most the corporate hotels I have stayed in. This is more of a very good B&B as opposed to a hotel, the free Wifi didnt work in the room that I had as the signal wasnt strong enough and I did get the smallest room I have ever stayed in but saying that it was clean and comfortable with a good shower and more than suitable for a one night stay.

Was able to park in the hotel for the entire day because of limited parking in Leaminngton Spa. Very comfortable bed. Nothing to dislike because it ticked all the boxes for my purposes.

Friendly staff. Comfortable beds. Good location - very close to the town centre. Shower didn't function well in the 3 person room. Light bulb flashed in the bathroom. Breakfast was adequate: plenty of it but could have been better presented.

Friendly greeting, car park space. Efficient staff Breakfast restricted to one hour on Sunday which compressed all the guests into that period and into a relatively small dining room. This meant a short wait in reception whilst a table was freed up.

Very clean, great breakfast and very friendly staff. The location was perfect for my wife and i due to the fact we were going to a tribute concert at the Assembly on the Friday and as the Saturday was our 28th wedding anniversary the Lansdowne hotel was in the perfect location. There are takeaways and cafes and plenty of shops very close by.Loved our weekend away.We would definately go again.

Arriving in the dark, bitter cold and heavy snow, we could not have hoped for a warmer welcome. The manager had been looking out for us and immediately came out in his fluorescent jacket to direct us to a convenient parking place. Check-in was friendly and efficient. Our rooms were warm and comfortable, with basic but clean, well-stocked ensuite bathrooms. The hotel was lovely and quiet, and I appreciated the fact that our special requests had been taken into account. Breakfast was promptly served, ample and delicious. The location was perfect, being within easy walking distance of shops, restaurants, gardens and theatre.

We loved our spacious room. Great Location and very friendly staff! Might sound silly but the sausage in the breakfast let them down big time! People do look at those things as well...

I found this hotel on the internet, requiring a room for one night in order to attend a concert at the Assembly in Leamington. It was ideally placed for this being a few minutes' walk from the city centre, was clean and comfortable and the facilities and breakfast were excellent. The car park is very small although I managed to find a space. The staff whilst very friendly could be rather hard to find and ringing the chime at reception had little effect.

I booked a room at the Lansdowne Hotel for my in laws when one of the rooms I thought I had booked at the Travelodge wasn't confirmed. They were very pleased with the Lansdowne. The Persian receptoonist was very pleasant and helpful. He gave them a downstairs room to save them climbing the stairs and he let them book in early to leave their bags while they went shopping. He also arranged for us to join them for breakfast which was excellent as was the young lady who served it. My in laws couldn't fault the facilities or the service and despite their room being on the ground floor it was quiet and they both had a good nights sleep. There was a problem with the payment. I thought the booking company had taken my card details and they would have taken the payment so we almost left without paying which was a bit embarrassing.
