I liked the great welcome we received when we arrived and how nothing was no problem. Also although it was a bed and breakfast it was a 5 star hotel accomadation the breakfast was excellent there again 5 star food.
Sorry we didn't stay for another night
Everything, especially breakfast
Basically everything - immaculately presented accommodation, very welcoming & friendly owners + delicious breakfasts. Nothing was too much trouble!! Very good, quiet location for exploring the beautiful area around Omagh.
A minor negative - the mattresses (we had a twin room) were rather firmer than we're used to...
Great hosts, lovely rooms and a beaut breakfast .
Absolutely everything about this B&B was brilliant. Top marks for breakfast, comfort, countryside location, ease of access to local restaurants, hospitality of staff, bathroom complementaries... Even a great selection of board games and a pool table.
The Internet had a tendency to stop working despite full signal, but this was a really minor point. I'm only mentioning it so I can share the fix: just reset your machine's DNS servers. Mobile devices tend to do this automatically; on a Windows 8 laptop like mine, it's just a case of running the WiFi troubleshooter (right-click on the signal indicator in the task bar). My friend was using a Macbook, and wasn't sure how to do it on there, but I'm sure a bit of research and you'll have the issue sorted easy.
Excellent B&B what ever you want from a B&B you have got it and more. Couldn't do enough for you such a friendly couple. Food was great....and rooms clean all in all first class stay. Helen. Bangor.
We were met by the owners who were really friendly and couldn't do enough to make us comfortable. Our visit was short but very relaxing - we would definitely recommend.
Over the years I have stayed in many B&B's and The Laurels beats all others hands down, the standard of accommodation here is very high. You will love The Laurels if you appreciate - attention to detail, excellent decor & furnishings, cleanliness (absolutely spotless), loads of guest space, delicious breakfast, and a warm welcome from the hosts Bill & Joyce. The standard is so high I believe all other B&B businesses in the country should be taken to the Laurels to see how it should be done. Being a particularly fussy person never before have I felt a B&B's room rate was a bargain, The Laurels truly was. (Ps I have never before left a review for anything but The Laurels deserves it)
Fantastic place to stay.
Large, clean and comfortable rooms Very pleasant and helpful hosts Excellent breakfast
Not a dislike, but a reminder you need a car to stay here as it is a few miles out of town.
Friendly welcomefrom our hosts Bill and Joyce. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Beautiful house in peace and tranquility, stunning views and lovely walks.
Everything - easily the best B n B we have stayed at on our trip!
No complaints at all - even the distance from town was worth it
Lovely hosts. real irish hospality. Denis and Joan Collins
Friendly hosts whom made you feel at home instantly. Excellent breakfast. Comfortable and spotlessly clean room.
Lovely & quiet location. Really good service from the owner with a friendly approach. I really recommend this location.
We would definitely stay here again. The room was very clean and comfortable. The proprietors made us feel welcome and went above and beyond in every way. The breakfast bacon was especially delicious, even better than the bacon served on the Queen Mary 2 on our trip over!
Everything. Joyce and Bill are perfect hosts and a lot of fun. We would stay with them any time. Looking for somewhere in Omagh, go to the Laurels, perfect.
We stayed only one night in our way to North Ireland. The host was wery friendly, the room big and clean, the bed comfortable, the bath well-equiped. We had a very nice staying.
perfect hosting and great breakfasts
can't think of a thing!
Fantastic B & B. The house is really beautiful, our room was well appointed and large, the breakfasts were 'the best' and the location was ideal to use as a base. But most of all, the hosts, Bill and Joyce were wonderful. They could not do enough for you and we're very knowledgable about the area around Omagh and what we should see. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with them and hope to come back for longer next time. We would certainly recommend The Laurels Lodge in Omagh.
We thoroughly enjoyed our night in the Laurels. We were made very welcome by Joyce on arrival and our room was very comfortable, warm and clean. The bathroom was also spotless. We met Bill next morning who was most welcoming and both Joyce & Bill could not do enough for us. All guests staying that night were treated like family. Would certainly stay again and highly recommend the Laurels.
Could not complain about one single thing at the Laurels.
The couple that own the B&B are lovely and the place was very nice, clean and peaceful. Bed was comfy, shower was hot etc. They also catered for my gluten free dietary requirements.
Joyce was very friendly throughout stay, the food was excellent, clean tidy rooms, very homely with pool table
Beautiful breakfast and congenial hosts.
