I did not like it at all. Firstly, the grading of 4 stars is overly misleading. In South Africa, that grading is reserved for exclusive establishments. My assessment is that the place should have only a 1 star, if any. The beds are quite old and hard and heaters are not working. The tv is very minute. I can go on forever. Everything as above. |

Naila was a charming hostess. The breakfast was individually prepared and delicious. They have an airport shuttle service, free, which we appreciated. The bed was a tad short for a 6'3"frame - my husband's. |

the friendlly staff nice suroundings nice clean rooms as we are vegan the breakfast did not have any choice even though they where informed in advance they could have tried harder. but the normal breakfast menu was good acording to our other familly members. |

Close to train station, easy to visit London without staying in London. Hotel staff were very helpful with directions and travel tips. Rooms were clean and comfortable, nice washroom in room. Breakfast was delicious. History of the house was interesting. |

The proximity to Gatwick airport is wonderful and having come off a 7 hour flight, at night, it was great to be picked up by the owners of The Lawns, transported to the hotel and to be greeted by a large room (1 double and 1 single bed just for me), v comfortable bed, power shower, large absorbent towels and a fantastic breakfast next a.m. I shall certainly return and recommend it to others. |

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The cooked breakfast was perfection and more than enough to keep me going all day. Pleasant little garden area to relax in. |

Zentral am Gatwick-Airport gelegen,je ca.45 Zug-Minuten bis London bzw. Brighton für ca. 12 Pfund ( Return). Parplatz ist kostenlos vorm Haus. Privatpension mit recht kleinen Zimmer und noch kleineren Doppelbett ( 1,40mx1,90m). Einrichtung bunt zusammengewürfelt und nicht besonders modern. Full-engl.Braefast recht bescheiden und abwechslungsarm. |

Perfekt bemötande av personalen från den gratis upphämtningen på Gatwick (5 min) till den dito avlämningen. Vänligt och personligt guest house med flera restauranger inom gångavstånd. Gratis trådlöst internet på rummet. Fräscht badrum. Vattenkokare och pulverkaffe/te på rummet. Förvänta ingen designupplevelse men det är ju en del av charmen och en allmän uppfräschning pågår. |

Bra kontakt med personal innan ankomst, goda anvisningar till hur vi skulle komma in då vi kom sent på kvällen. Rummet var rent, äldre inredning och något omodernt badrum, men helt ok. Frukosten var också bra, typisk Engelsk varm frukost. Som i alla äldre engelska hus så luktade det lite fukt i entrén, men inget på rummet. |

Close to a lot of restaurant with lot of choice Bus on demand and on time Close to airport No receipt for bus (5GBP). I asked the driver to send it to me quickly for my expenses. Hope it will arrive soon. If not I will never choose and not recomend this guest house anymore. |
