The location is great and always a good stay, never disappoints.
Can be a bit noisy and busy when there is a dancing group there.
Staff and food excellent. Breakfast served on hot plates and freshly cooked for you. Would stay again Parking good
Lady on reception very friendly & helpful, good breakfast time staff & food also good, very good value for money
Not really didn't like, but evening bar staff not very cheery !
Staff were really helpful and polite
Breakfast was pre- cooked
Friendly staff. Good service at breakfast. Helpful at reception.
Our room was comfortable but basic. The bathroom was small (tight fit).
Very well located. Bargain. Easy to get to. Nice lounge. staff very nice, helpful
bedroom tiny, desperately needs updating bathroom tiny smell from bathroom ??
Perfect place to stay for a weekend away. Great location and really good value for money. Just what I wanted and expected.
Only downside I can give is that room was pretty cold when first entered but radiator took care of that quickly enough
Staff were very welcoming, helpful and friendly. Lovely breakfast.
Staff helpfulness. Breakfast
Noise outside during night
Good points were the facilities - bar, restaurant, extremely friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast included was nice. The location is excellent for the Winter Gardens and the Tower (ballroom), so only a few minutes walk.
The decor is tired and the walls between rooms were stud walls with apparently no sound insulation. As a result the noise from neighbouring rooms was really bad.
The restaurant staff were very polite and helpful. The hotel all round was well decorated, clean and tidy.
Unfortunately, the management/owners let the hotel down. We emailed them 3 days before our trip to inform them of requirements for evening meal on our arrival, and were told that they had not received our email, yet they had replied, saying that we should have informed them earlier, their was no mention of this on their booking conditions. This left us feeling let down. Rooms are a bit on the small side. Not much storage space.
The parking situation and breackfast as poor
The staff were very helpful with parking. Bar staff and waiting on staff were very polite. Lovely room. Will certainly use again
very good value for money and ideal location.
The Lawton was close to the tower, and lots of the attractions, which makes it a good spot to explore from. Parking was available, and secure. The breakfast was just what we needed! All the staff we met were very helpful and friendly. We had a very nice stay.
it could do with a bit of an update.. its a little tired... nothing actually wrong, just used!
Staff were excellent Location good
The room was terrible tried to change it no ?? You looked out the window onto other rooms 4 feet away there was 2 adults and 15 year old sharing so once the loo roll was finished never replaced the shower was grubby i wouldnt go back to this room, no decent entertainment.
there is nothing at all to complain about
Plenty of seating and room in bar areas, very friendly staff. Great location.
Stag and hen do at the hotel, but it is blackpool after all, didn't hear them at night. But a tad noisy at breakfast.
fab location for a busy weekend took our 3 year old grandson staff very helpful and friendly family room...double bed and a single....en suite great breakfast in morn great value for money will return
Had a great night at the lawton! Staff where great & very helpful. Ideal 5 min walk into the centre & was able to check out late for an extra charge of only £10 per room ideal for us! Went with a group of friends & would defiantly stay there next time! Thank you the lawton!!
Rooms were clean with enough space. Free parking just a 2 min walk away and bar/games rooms area spacious so our Young children didn't have to to constantly 'sit still' so as not to bother others. Also when we visited there was a mix of families and stag parties but the space meant it wasn't a problem. We had a fab view of the tower from our room, which the kids loved!
The noisy seagulls in the morning - but that's not the hotels fault!
We heard people walking upstairs and could not sleep for the whole night. The shower room was too tiny I could not even turn around. Beds were too soft and uncomfortable like I sunk into the mattress.
Bar / lounge area was clean
Hotel from the outside look reasonably ok, on leaving the bar area the smell was noticable and not pleasant. The room was extremely small, the shower leaked, the window once opened did not close. There was a cigarrett burn in the sheet and a terrible smell of mould in the bedroom. The stay was not cheap costing over £110 per night so I expected more than what we got. My 7 year old daughter did not enjoy the stay. On saturday afternoon at approx 5pm the bar was filled with drunks, the language was terrible and they were very loud. As the only was to get to the room was via the bar it was not possible to avoid this.
drain smells in bathroom, mould in the bathroom, mirror in bedroom to high ,no seat for dressing mirror, dirty carpet
Very welcoming and helpful.
