I stayed here two nights l, The 'hotel' was noisy with people running up and down the corridors all night. A group upstairs were having a party until 8am. Men kept banging on and trying the door to my room all night, shouting and one puked outside in The corridor. No phone in the room and staff did nothing to stop the disgusting behaviour of guests. Horrid place I will never go back
Parking was available
So much noise from people staying in rooms with loud music. Bar was also full of drunken noisy people. Also smelt of urine on the passages outside rooms. Not a nice place. I reported all to staff who did nothing.
Staff very polite and helpful comfy beds room wasn't the ritz but I didn't pay for that
The pool table was lacking chalk and cue tips and the bar price was expensive
The Lawton was well situated by the town looked best Hotel in street from outside. Staff were friendly and served a filling breakfast and food arrived within minutes of sitting down i.e. no long waiting. Parking was at back of hotel plenty of room for cars not blocked in or tight spaces like other places we have stayed at. The bar area was clean and tidy so was our room.
On a down side the first room we were given smelt like a sewer. I complained to staff who at once changed the room and could not apologise enough, im sure if I pushed I could of got a small refund.
Hotel was nice and friendly! Close to winter gardens and shops
Great Location, beds were comfortable not bad basic rooms, you get what you pay for.
Being woken up 3 times in night by drunk lads, knocking on my door. Breakfast not very nice.
The lawton is a nice hotel, situated near the tower,we arrived early and we're allowed to check in early which was good for us as we were going to Fleetwood for the match.rooms were comfortable with walk in showers comfy bed and flat screen TV and hospitality tray.wld definitely stay there again,we got taxis from the train station and would recommend that to anyone travelling that way,a bit far to walk if you have luggage.
The sausage at breakfast, but rest of the breakfast was really nice.
Only the location
Residents in restaurant in bare feet everything looking very 'tired'.
Staff fantastic breakfast excellent location quiet but close to Main Street
Location was close to Blackpool Tower. The price was good value for a family stay. Bar area good to sit in and have a drink in the evenings.
Dreary room. Mattress not fit for purpose. Probably qualifies as an antique and instrument of torture. Would have sat in chair all night if one had been provided. Had we been staying more than one night we would have had to relocate.
Comfortable beds & lounge areas. Staff all friendly & helpful.
We got what we paid for and a bit more. Only real issue was the size of the bathroom facilities, other than that def earned its 3 stars!
Very helpfull staff
not much would not stay again, however breakfast was a pleasant surprise,
size of room, it was depressing and like sleeping in someone's cupboard. noise in the afternoon and through the night. reported this to staff and felt like it was something that they turn a blind eye to. They told us they had us marked for a bigger room if it became available but still charged us the same price. Thank goodness we were only there for one night,
We where great by the owner and his staff and they where so helpful and full of fun. We where shown to the "secret" carpark but manager escort and a few of our own "secrets" were discovered oops. But seeing as it was near to christmas it was ok. The girls jad a fab weekend and i will be booking this hotel again.
The only critism i can say really is yhe carpets in our room where rather stained but considering it is a busy hotel i am not surprised but maybe in need of a new carpet.
Friendly staff very helpful
Noise from other guests went on into early hours
Value for money Location Cleanliness of room
Size of the room Breakfast was not the best Walls very thin, could hear everything
Friendly staff, decent breakfast
I stayed at the Lawton for 2 nights. I was woken throughout both nights by people screaming in the corridors. On a number of occasions groups of men banging on my door and trying to get in. When i told them to go away they would answer with lewd comments about what they would like to do if i opened the door. There was no phone in the room and i was too scared to leave the room to go to reception. There was someone being sick in the corridor, shouting and banging against the walls. The room upstairs was apparently a party room for a group of young lads and they made noise from 2am until 8.30am on both days. The hotel staff did not seem bothered by this behaviour, I couldn't wait to leave!
Nice hotel, close to everything, staff really friendly nothing too much for them, would recommend will definately return. Breakfast excellent.
Mattress's could do with replacing
Easy access to shops.
Advertised evening meals available, but restaurant was closed whilst there. My friend had asked for a smokin room when we booked but on arrival none available. Had no sleep due to stag/hen do. Shower didn't work. No plug for bath. Tight squeeze to sit on loo-thought it was going to come away from wall. Small old towels. Dirty carpet. Tired rooms in need of redecorating.
Hotel very clean and breakfast was good. Staff also very helpful plus point was they have parking. Room was well furnished and spacious.
Double bed had a broken bed frame but we only stayed 2 nights so managed.
Bar friendly and plenty of room and comfortable . Staff friendly and helpfuĺ.
Car park on small side could not move with out inconvenienceing other residents. Would have liked a bit more veriety at breakfist.
The location is great and always a good stay, never disappoints.
Can be a bit noisy and busy when there is a dancing group there.
Staff and food excellent. Breakfast served on hot plates and freshly cooked for you. Would stay again Parking good
