Location to shops really good.

The staff at the hotel were ok friendly enough but i did find that this hotel is definately not good for families. The language in the bar by customers were terrible and i am a really broadminded person and bar staff said nothing. Also doors banging, people running along corridors and shouting at each other when coming in at all hours of night. We hardly had any sleep and grandaughter was kept awake most of night. So would definately would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Rooms were very small and dirty Ensuites very cramped and Toilet filthy

Welcoming, helpful staff on reception. Excellent service in a lovely restaurant, food was served hot and quickly by very friendly waitresses. The Lawton was within a few minutes walk from the Winter Gardens as advertised for our event and we enjoyed a drink and the atmosphere in the bar on our return.

Would have liked a shelf in the bathroom to put toiletries and some hooks for wet coats in the bedroom.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The front desk clerk made us tea and coffee so that we could visit the friends we had come to see as the weather was nasty and we didnt want to go out again. The ladies who served breakfast were very nice too and couldn't do enough for us.

Being canadian I am used to much larger rooms so was shocked that the first room we were shown did not allow us to move in it. The next room was larger but still very tiny. The whole hotel needs a good cleaning and an upgrade from its shabby appearance.

coffee in the bedroom was not to my liking,when we got back to the hotel in the evening all males being in the bar the laguage was a bit choice

Staff very helpful we want mid week it was very quiet,until the friday night then it was a little noisey .

We booked wheelchair acessesable room with a wet bathroom only to find there was no shower drain hole in place but had a low leveel bath. Which was of no use to ourselfs,the gentleman we spoke to was helpful in trying to help us shown to other rooms which we not suitable as we could nt get wheelchair in .Hope they will think about putting in a shower. We used a shower stool and a jug!!

me and my Friend only stayed one night, as it was a quick theatre tripto see Boogie Nights at the Winter Gardens. We thought the hotel and staff were really nice and the breakfast was fantastic.

I wish we could have had our evening meal at the hotel but it was out of season and not possible for them to do dinners.

Compared to my previous visit, this latest visit was not as good. Single room was located in 'smoking area' which was unpleasant, room was small and slightly dirty compared to my single room in the no smoking part of hotel

The staff and management were very friendly. Will most defiantly go back again and again.

My hangover the next day. LOL.

Nice friendly staff nice atmosphere for my 2 children to play pool in all other guests friendly nice location pretty central to all amenities.

Room was a little cramped fora family of four and bathroom was even smaller.

The location was fab right near town centre.

All the hen and stag people staying at the hotel, they were very noisy.

Price, location, friendliness of the staff, amended breakfast time to suit the purpose of our visit

It was just a short walk (a couple of minutes) to the town but out the way of all the noise. Staff were friendly and accomodating. We had a cot in our room also and there was still plenty of room for our aon to play. Hotel provided free car parking which not alot do.

I booked 3 adult and got a double and bunk beds not good for 3 grown men the guy weren't happy.we did ask for an other they said no more rooms the other were getting renovated then the hotel had lots more people in on Saturday so woz not happy
