A quiet beautiful location with very friendly people. We felt welcome immediately.
Hotel is dated and service needs attention.
Scenery is second to none balcony overlooking river and surounding area lovely.Beds really comfortable.
Nothing will definitely return.
Location Scenery and surroundings Right on the River Severn Food - only had breakfast Proprietors The weather!
The staff were very friendly and the location next to river is very nice, lovely part of the world. We stayed whilst attending a wedding nearby and wouldnt hesitate to recommend.
Fantastic views over the river. Truly relaxing place to stay. Breakfast very good.staff very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend and hope to return again one day as you could just spend all your time there sitting on the balcony watching the world go by
Shower wasnt great but is due to be updated so i believe.
The room we were in a bit dated, could do with modernising
poor breakfast pool table charge (£1)
LOVELY VIEW OF THE RIVER STOUR FROM OUR ROOM
DECOR RATHER TIRED
Such a beautiful setting and with lovely view from bedroom window.
Hotel is in a perfect setting overlooking the river Severn. Our room was very comfortable and spacious - we could not fault a thing.
We would have enjoyed the company of other guests but we obviously visited at a quiet time.
Great staff food location
The staff were very helpful and friendly. The food was good and the location excellent. The Inn has done well to recover from significant flooding at the start of the year.
The place was a tad down-at-heel though e.g. light fittings loose, frayed carpets.
Great views across the river, beautiful and peaceful spot
Balcony needs some TLC
it was a very relaxing evening and the kids had a few games to play. food was ok however hubby told me after we left that his pie was cold so never had chance to rectify this with staff. however we would return to this B&B. We had a lovely stay.
didnt like the fact that whilst i was in bed and had opened window that other guests where all standing outside talking rather loudly.
The location was amazing with fantastic views balcony over the river. The staff and the owners were very friendly and made you feel totally welcome and at home.
Internet connection was very poor. Hot water was limited for a bath in the morning.
Great location, good selection of real ale and very friendly staff. Will definately come for a weekend break again!
room size and view of the river
Only one out of four were able to have a hot shower. The water was cold. The twin beds were not very comfortable.
the fact that the winter floods had been so devastating for the owners. whilst every effort had been made to reduce the effect on the comfort.
Excellent location, Excellent reception, staff and management very helpful and friendly. Food and drink, very good selection and delivery. Were made to feel at home and very welcome.
We cannot think of anything which would warrant a comment in this section.
The setting was lovely, and the staff friendly.
The bathroom was very dated, and the shower very weak.
The place is superb offering a variety of view of the best country side with benefits of evening relaxation near the river savern.
The position by the river
The restaurant, the food was poor, the time we had to wait was unacceptable and it wasn't busy at all. The beds were old and uncomfortable.
smell in place was of frying oil.smell in rm from damp plaster work.workmen banging in rm downstairs early am.poor broombroken tiles.one chair .weren't expecting us when arrived.
