The Light's location is perfect. It's just 3 walking minutes away from Piccadilly Garden. I stayed in a deluxe apartment with 2 bedrooms, both bedrooms and the living room have a tv. Sadly, I can't say the room was very clean. My pillow was smelling bad, and there were dust on dishes. Bathroom sink had a draining problem. Although I had reported this, no one showed up to fix the issue during my stay(4 days).

The location is brilliant and the secure parking is definitely a selling point for us as not many serviced apartments have their own parking and if they do then it's normally fully booked. We have tried 3 other services apartments in Manchester & the Light is by far the best. The staff are really friendly & the apartment was a decent size. Overall, it was great & will stay again. It was fairly clean however some of kitchen utensils were dirty & dusty which wouldn't take much to clean before the guests arrived but this was a minor point

Staff were very polite and helpful. Welcome basket of food on arrival, bread milk Orange juice etc. Location was great. Very nice bathroom. The room slept 4 but only enough food for 2 in welcome package. Decor needs updating, scuff marks on walls, iron mark on carpet.

The room was large and open with minimal clutter. A hotel is primarily about the bed - it was a small double bed and only passably comfortable. The kitchenette lacked a full complement of items - cups, plates, cutlery. Some of the items were broken or damaged.

Great location, excellent staff, clean, very good spacious accommodation that is well priced. Book it! Parking is a nightmare as the car-park entrance is far too small and it's configuration is abysmal, no chance in a 4x4, however, there's a good cheap car park across the way. Expect a few revelers at the weekend that can raise the noise levels.

We originally booked a delux apartment for the weekend howeer upon arrival we were down-graded to a studio apartment. We did receieve a slight discount however we would not hae stayed there if we knew this beforehand. As we didnt check in till late in the day we did not have time to find anywhere else to stay and so had to accept their offer. Pretty pissed off as once we had accepted offer and moved into studio apartment the staff werent interested in upgrading us or helping in any way. will not be staying there again

Amazing suite - very spacious and well appointed. The bed and badging was fantastic - we had the best nights sleep we've ever had in a hotel. Brilliant. The complimentary bread, milk, cereal, butter and jam was great, but tea, coffee and super would've made it so much better.

It's building apartment, clean, modern, comfortable and convenience location for city trip. 1) I strongly unsatified the cleaner of this apartment, check out time is 11:00, he came into our room 3 times, 8:xx, 9:xx & 10:xx A.M. When my fds and me were sleeping in our bed rooms, this guy had the key came in n doing something(I had no idea what's his doing, just got noice from outside of bed rooms!). At first time-8:XX A.M., he bang my bedroom door, aft I wore jacket n open the door, he had gone!! 2) The guy who onduty at 1 Feb morning (I need to mentioned it clear, as the other staff was good), when i told him the story abt the cleaner abt 15 mins, he just say apology twice, by the way, he saw the clock and show me the hotel policy n said:" Check out must bef. 11:00 a.m., now is 11:25 a.m., you should be pay the penality for it, but ok, we're not charging you now!" WOW..thank you! This guy is so smart, he can find the EXCUSE in very short time TO COVER THEIR FAULT!

Great location, nice modern look, good enough space and amazing beds. One of the staff Sahbi, a Tunisian guy was great and had amazing customer care and needs to get promoted. The room wasn't a hundred per cent clean from the last occupants. The heaters were way too hot and had been left on so that when we arrived it was baking. Got charged £50 for checking out an hour late, which was ludicrous.

Convenient location. Decent price. Well appointed. Great view (from our 11th floor apartment) - nice balcony. When staying in a city for a few days, as we were, an apartment can often be a better base than a hotel. Internet connection was flaky (on the 11th floor at least). Although there was no problem connecting to the WiFi network, we were often unable to access the internet through it. For a whole day we couldn't access the internet in the apartment at all. At other times, some of our party could access the internet whilst others couldn't. Sometimes we had to go down to the lobby to access the internet, which wasn't the most convenient. We reported the problem to the front desk on two occasions but it wasn't fixed during the duration of our 5 day stay. The telephone in the apartment had been disconnected so, if we wanted to contact the staff, we had to go down to the reception lobby rather than phoning down - not the most convenient.

Spacious, convenient and clean Patronising staff. Why there was stairs going up to the lifts how someone in wheelchair would access this is beyond me (i found it difficult and i was on crutches). The breakfast hamper had a small bottle of milk, 2 yoghurts and a pint of orange juice for 4 people! No parking
